Having a few good games with Monahan a couple of years ago doesn't mean they have good chemistry. Plus Hudler played right wing and Sven is terrible on his off wing. Putting someone else on their off-wing to put Sven in the line-up is not the best idea either.

And Paul Byron has proven to NOT be a point producer in the NHL, so when you're thin with injuries give the opportunity to the guy who is a maybe, not the guy who is a no.

But yeah, I don't think Baertschi was THE answer, but a better answer than Byron maybe.
