Flames are no longer head-manning the puck and the defense men wait until the forwards are slowing down at the blue line before they make a pass or dump in decision, and by that point the forwards have no chance to do anything.

Outwork the other team for starters. They get a PP and start coasting and let the PK outwork them and gain possession. I guess they feel like since they have an extra skater they can relax. Doesn't work that way.

When the Flames get a PP the past month. They just coast make really bad passes and rest.

Sounds like he was injured in the 1st period. He hasn't come back yet.

No. No one knows why yet either. First thing that comes to mind is an injury but these are usually reported by now.

Evidently Glencross played a little over 5 min. in the first period and hasn't been on the ice since.

Maybe had to go back to Calgary for personal reasons? That or a trade. When it's an injury it's usually mentioned pretty quick. Or maybe nothing and I'm searching for a story since this game is boring

Surprising the Flames don't let Sportsnet know what's going on with Glencross for an entire period. There is no Roger Millions it appears tonight to be the dressing room investigator, however if it was an injury, the Flames PR crew would've gotten word to the broadcast crew by now.
Odd.

Horrible shift by Stajan, Bollig and Bouma.

Some 2nd Period Thoughts:
-Ortio hasn't been crazy busy, but a few more saves that kept us in the game
-Ugly period. I completely believe that this team has been off for a while, very little jump. Missing Jooris doesn't help.
-I expect the Fwd lines to be mixed up for the 3rd, very little chemistry this period.
-This isn't just coincidence now. Backlund is back!

Not really, he would be giving an effort, unlike what we have seen from the Flames tonight.
