I think the debate is he made the catch with 2 steps, then hitting the ground was a fumble, recovered his own fumble for a TD.

that doesnt matter since his other elbow was down. Bryant caught the ball without it moving, took 2-3 steps, reached for the endzone and was down at the one with his other elbow

Yeah, it didn't seem that him stretching to the endzone was just inadvertent or momentum carrying him in to the endzone...it was a football move and the other elbow was down.

If he caught it and cradled it all the way down instead of trying to stretch he would've made the catch and would've been down at the 2.

Real tough call.

It was the right call but it's not a rule I'm a fan of as I feel the NFL has micromanaged what the definition of a catch should be. Besides the Cowboys don't deserve any breaks after last week.

I'm surprised it was overturned. It was really close. Surprising that he didn't run on the field to complain

He never made a football move. Right call was made and honestly it's not even going to be debated as that's the rule.

He took at least one step tand then lunged with the ball. Clearly I don't understand the rule because in my mind lunging like that is definitely a football play. You can't do that without control.

Best part will be the NFL calling the Cowboys later in the week telling them it was the wrong call.

He was stumbling to the ground it's a terrible rule but he didn't maintain possession. He was at no point making a football play.

Except they won't because it was the right call. Do any of you watch the regular season? That call gets made once or twice every weekend. As soon as I saw the replay where he juggled it after it hitting the ground I knew it would be overturned. Maybe in the CFL that's a completion but not the NFL.

The rule states that you must maintain control of the ball all the way through the catch AND all the way to the ground, which is where the ball came loose so technically it was an incomplete pass.

Its the Calvin Johnson rule....and I agree with EE....its a bad rule.

That's game over even with the flag after the play.

I would diving for the endzone is a football move. Because he definitely did that.

Odell Beckham Jr @OBJ_3
I by no means cheer for Dallas but I have no idea what or how thts not called a catch . Thts a joke

Thats game. What a gutsy game by Rodgers. Huge props to him. Hope he heals enough next week to make it a game vs Seattle.
