That Setoguchi penalty was a turning point in this game. Bad decision to try and skate it out between 2 Hurricanes, he falls (expected) and then holds the stick instead of just getting back up and getting into the play. They score immediately and the Flames lost all their fire and enthusiasm, just weren't the same after. Backbreaking play by Seto.

Such a frustrating game. Absolutely nothing going right for the Flames in this one. The effort is there, but some ugly boneheaded turnovers have ended up in the back of our net. Let's hope they can come out hard in the 3rd, play a little smarter and make things interesting at least.

6 minutes of ice time for Setoguchi and on for both Carolina goals and caused the third.

I think I'd be less concerned with the two goal deficit if we were shooting above 10 shots a period... More Florida magic coming?

When the entire forum is in agreement about one guy being the goat you know he's bad. I wouldn't be surprised if he's done with the team after today.

Yeah I've tried to be patient because he's hustling, but he's absolutely killing whatever line he's on and hasn't put up a single point. I think you gotta put him on waivers when we get healthy bodies back. No question in my mind now.

Player interviews in intermissions are just the worst. I wish they'd just stop them tbh.

A lot of people on CP have very poor short term memory... Team is playing way above their heads yet get crucified for a couple of bad periods.
If there's one thing this team is known for and has shown time and time again in the past season, is that they never give up. I'm expecting a solid pushback in the third.

It's only because Jeremy Roenick, Craig Conroy, and Ilya Bryzgalov aren't playing anymore.

I have to think Setoguchi is being given every opportunity in the world to show he deserves to stick around once our injured players come back. It's certainly looking like it should be an easy decision on who we should keep comparing Setoguchi, Jooris, and Granlund.
