This reminds me of the flames 2 years ago, no shots, no intensity no hits

Canada now resorting to low percentage shots from everywhere, which is counter to generating scoring opportunities.

Anybody else having problems with their TSN feed? Mine is really choppy and keeps crapping out. It's incredibly annoying.

Too bad it took us 12 minutes to wake up in the period. Fucale should not play the puck...

Got to give Finland credit here, they play very well defensively, especially at blocking shots.

Crazy.

Not to mention that Canada had the easiest path possible to the final - Switzerland and Finland.
Embarrassing that they can't even navigate that road.

The fins actice stick work is incredible. They are in control to avoid penalties but give Canada nothing!
Still 5 minutes!!

Only time I remember the experts picking Canada out of the medals pre-tournament and they won with ease. That was far from a all-star team.
This year again the team is far from star studded and he has done a great job.
Looks like they may lose this one it they have been better than the Fins and deserve to be winning . Hard to blame Sutter for the bounces and officiating .

Canada has been better than every team in every game ever, right?
Finland has been better and deserves to be winning.

In fairness to Sutter there's alot of me-first players on this year's team. Dumba, Pouliot, Drouin, they're all supposed to be this team's leadership group and all of them are very individualistic players. The composition of the team is just off. They don't really look like a cohesive team. Hard to blame a coach who's had what 2 weeks with a bunch of individual 18 year olds to gel a team. Sometimes its just not going to happen.

It would have been good for him too. The last few weeks on the Flames haven't offered much in terms of learning (unless it's on how to turn off all offence). On this type of team, he could've been counted on as a team leader, and a little bit about pressure situations.

Finland is playing really smart, defensive hockey... But Canadian players trying to do it all on their own is not helping...

we've played really uninspired ...but give them credit, the Finns really haven't given us much (other than PP's which we suck on anyways)
