The Swiss vs Finland shootout is painful to watch, 6 shooter on each side, no goals.

Connor McDavid comes across as a massive dick. Yikes.

Didn't catch the game but am keen on the Sutter / McDavid benching and response.

I suspect no one has ever benched MCDavid before and he feels entitled to certain icetime.

What did he do to come across badly?

Are you referring to that interview? I thought he came across as pretty humble and dismissive of the goal meaning he played well.

You think whistle blowers are traitors?

Except Snowden is a hero, not a traitor. But carry on.

Snowden is a hero and a whistle blower. Ashasx and Brett hull are traitors.

Yea, seen a couple of his interviews now - he clearly expects a lot out of himself which is awesome but when the interviewer compliments you on a good game and you come back with "actually I played terrible but ok" (paraphrased, dont remember exact quote) though he probably means well it just didn't come across the right way. Sort of talked down to the interviewer the whole time when answering every question with "I guess."

Could be wrong though, don't know the guy personally but definitely seems to have a huge ego when talking down to people. Not like Crosby who seems a bit more patronizing when delivering his cliches to reporters.

McDavid is a 16 year old.

All 16 year olds come across as dicks.

I've stayed home for the last two Canada games and wow, great games.

Boo that there aren't games tomorrow when people are off. Take Dec. 30 off and schedule New Year's Eve as it was then start the playoff round on New Year's Day.

He is 16 years old. He'll get better with the media as he's exposed to it more often.
