Too much Game of Thrones, not enough Goodfellas.

I once had a guy who worked with me, and his name was 'Pip'- which is kind of cool and not very abnormal.

I asked him what it was short for one time and he said he didn't want to talk about it- but I sort of laughed it off.

Well, I found out it was short for 'Phiffney.' His mom wanted to name him Epiphany but she spelled it wrong on his birth certificate.

It is nice to see some girls getting drafted to the WHL.

The best part is he totally won on that deal. Pip is a cool name. He should change the story to something like "my mom really liked Gladys Knight" and not "my mom couldn't spell, and wanted me to be a female stripper".

I was Named Braden after my Dad's favourite truck Winch,

My mom after a couple of months was too embarrassed about it, so she added a Y to make Brayden. Which became a common name about 5 years after i was born.

My Dad then named my Younger brother Troy because he liked the movie and thought "it was a name of someone you wouldn't want to mess with".....

It didn't make the list for some reason, but the Hitmen drafted a kid named Andrea.

After a 9 month long vetting process and much indecision, we went with Miles for our little boy (born yesterday).

There are an incredible number of ridiculous names out there

How un-Canadian. You should have gone with Kilometres. Little Kilometres Bunk.

Miles is almost as good a name as "Bunk".

I don't know if these guys are still around in the industry, but there were a couple of insurance adjusters around with great names:

Harry Assen
Woody Swallows

Kilometres would have been 1.61 times better.

I unfortunately know someone who named her daughter Khaleesi.

And to make matters worse she claims to this day it is some sort of historical name and has nothing to do with Game of Thrones as she's never read or seen or ever heard anything about it yada yada yada. It doesn't seem to matter to her the first appearance of that name ever was in the first book...
