Anyway... Li Na looks to be playing good tennis based on the bit of her I saw a few rounds ago, gonna be a heck of a match. Honestly I didn't think Genie would be able to get this one but she pulled it out.

The draw is wide open and she has the confidence and ability to make the shots so this one is possible. Can't have so many errors against Li Na but her best match can get it done.

That was an intense match. Bouchard showed some real mental toughness because Ivanovic was making some great shots. Good for her, she deserved this win. Feels good to be a Canadian tennis fan!

what's with the awkward winner interviews for the women? yesterday Vika's talking about how much her and Redfoo like Australia such that he'd buy them a place there, and the same interviewer blurts out that she's missing a ring on her finger. at least Vika was sharp enough to retort that if she gets one it better be bigger than Wozniacki's.
if they're gonna make the womens interviews embarrassing they should put the same effort into the mens ones as well...although some of them are shameless enough that it wouldn't have any effect, e.g.
interviewer (after Nole beats Fed at 2010 USO): so, how does it feel right now?
Nole: like sleeping with my girlfriend!!

Djoker is out. Caught most of the 5th set and for the first time in a while Novak appeared to be the one who felt the pressure. Terrific playing from Wawrinka though he certainly earned it.
