Man Monahans voice is deep... I expect him to comment on the fact he eats children trip-trapping over his bridge after each media question.

Monahan is 18, and yet his poise is amazing. I've said it before- NCAA has all of these rules where players have to go to college for some period of time so normally other sports' professional athletes are older than 18- however when comparing athletes from any sport- hockey players are the most articulate and professional when it comes to interviews- at any age. Good job kid- great representation. Very impressive.

He's one of the better cliche interviews out there, he actually referenced time and space, made reference to a future road trip.
It was a well strung together grouping of cliches.

Iggy was no Conroy, but he was a better interview than most.

Yeah, aside from his baby face, you would never guess he's only 19....

Both Colborne and Monahan are 7-4 on the face-off dot tonight. Especially considering how the Wings have traditionally dominated the circle against us, that is a real pleasure to see.

So in a few years he'll have a mid-life crisis and phone in every performance? Doesn't sound so good to me.

There is no way Monahan is 19. So mature.

Anything happen of note in the first two periods? Couldn't watch it unfortunately. Read on the score that Monahan scored.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why we need to find a goalie.
