Ahh crap got the error. Wonder if it's because I didnt get the terms and conditions pop up before it started the first time.

Currently I'm at 4 hours remaining, but it has been at 2 or 3 hours some times too. bar doesn't appear to be moving much.

I don't know if it's the servers that are slow or if it's my internet that's been spotty since Friday.

Mine took 30 minutes, no errors. Off WiFi.

You can just download the updated firmware directly from Apple (links below), and then update in iTunes.
Saves using slow iTunes to download, plus, allows me to DL the update from work and then upgrade once home without having to wait.

Wtf, it's fully downloaded on my phone, but when I go to install I get "Software Update Unavailable" every time.

First time, I tried to see what would happen if I switched off WiFi while it was downloading. That paused the download, then when I turned WiFi back on, it came up with an error.

Tried again, run for a bit, then came up with an error.

Thanks to my internet issues here (grrrrr), "check for update" in iTunes says "iPhone update server cannot be contacted", and that direct download page above doesn't work either. I guess I wait until this evening at home.

I made the mistake of carrying both phones in an elevator and I think that's why it errored out.

Couldn't connect all morning, and then just connected and downloaded in 10 minutes. Install was error-free. I like the new look and feel and am very glad that they're getting rid of the skeumorphs. So far my biggest disappointment is that Siri still doesn't do a whole heck of a lot, beyond appointments and calendars stuff. I had hoped that something like 'turn on airplay' would be within her scope now.
