Monahan has contributed on the scoresheet everytime. I hope he continues to do so in all the NHL preseason games. I want the coaching staff to be put in a really tough decision to keep him for at least the 10 games once the regular season begins.

I have no problem with Monahan staying here or going back to junior, whatever his play warrants.

But he just can't go to Abby. It is not possible.

I just want him to have a real nice showing in the preseason and at the NHL level. If they send him back to the 67's after that i am ok with it but it will better for the fan base to see him leave realizing his potential as a young player with real future1st line potential then having just a average preseason.
I hope he leads the team in points along with Granlund going into the regular season, lofty goals yes but it would be great to see happen.

Yeah I, like most it seems, think that unless he absolutely explodes in his early stint, he should probably be sent back to help him grow his skills in junior and possibly be part of a couple winning teams (traded in jr and WJHC).

I think abbotsford would be the best fit this season for Monahan to work on his back hand face offs and line changes.
