Yah, what it tells me is that the team has been losing, so naturally, the natives are restless.

Justified or not, people are going to want some rolling heads when their favourite sports team is losing.

Despite the Sun poll, and all the blathering going on in this thread though, very few people actually know what really goes on behind the scenes, whether or not King "meddles" in hockey ops too much and whether or not he deserves to be fired.

Regardless of any behind the scenes issues it is clear the firing of Sutter and the subsequent failure to do a proper search for his replacement, coupled with the hiring of Feaster as GM who was either so grossly unable to assess a team as to be unfit to own a season ticket or (as is far more likely) was constrained by an implicit set of criteria which included not trading Iggy and not rebuilding the team in order to get the job.
These reasons alone should damn King.
