Good for the islanders as their fans. This is fantastic to watch. I think in a full 82 game season they'd finish way higher than 8th

Maybe not but he did have the ability to bear down and shut the door when his team really needed him. Back to back finals appearances and a cup prove that.
Now, every time the puck comes into the penguins zone, it's essentially a scoring chance.

Btw hockey media... This is what it looks like when goaltending is a major issue. Having two top 10 goalies means the position is a strength.

The Coliseum has been pretty rocking since the deadline I've found. The isles have dedicated fans, just a lot of them don't seem to like spending their money when Charles Wang doesn't. The DiPietro demotion was a huge signal for that fanbase.
