It's true..i am not saying he is not playing well.. it's just that it is easier for the goaltender to see the first shot because at least he can control the rebound. Irving and McDonald pretty much got mugged in front of the net all the time. That's how Flames should play defensively... not letting anyone in front of the net.

That's his new move this year. He goes to it like 3 times a game at least. If he would just start driving the net more his goals would come but it doesn't look like he can get that step on the defender anymore.

Man, Tanguay and Iginla might as well not be playing.
Phx doing a good job of enforcing their style of play on the game, and flames showing little to break thru and force the issue.
Next goal wins, though sure feels like a flames shutout.
