2 sets to 1 now. His 1st serve percentage in that last set was 88%. His return game can suffer somewhat if he's serving like that. This guy won't get any chances to break.
Travelling sunday so i wont be able to catch any tv... Hope they close it out tomorrow. Good for Dancevic. He never seems to catch a break in his career with all the injuries, deserved that moment. Kinda shocked how one sided it actually was.
Still have a huge mental victory ahead to get through. If they do, they have a great matchup next round either way, avoiding any of the big boys and since they've never played italy or croatia, 50-50 chance of it being in Canada again.
speaking of Italy and Croatia, they split singles matches yesterday and are now in the 2nd set of doubles.. Italy are ahead in the 2nd set after losing the first.

Just wow guys! The energy dancevic gets from the crowd is unreal. Even last year he loves playing the crowd and getting the place rocking. What a fun match to watch. How are the fans sounding on tv? I don't feel we are as loud as last year. It doesn't help that only about 20 Spain fans came to the tie. Last year there was a complete section French fans that helped with atmosphere
I just caught the end of the Danko match and it sounded good to me. A fair few empty seats visible surprised me but it looked 75-80% full and those that were there were enthusiastic.
I was at the Davis cup singles matches yesterday. The crowd was bigger for Milos's match but was louder for Franks match. Frank played so well he was so jacked up it was awesome to see, he absolutely dominated, it was a lot of fun to watch.
It was a fun experience, I just feel like there are better venues in Vancouver rather than the UBC hockey rink. I was seated in the temporary bleacher to rear of the service line on the south side and there was a huge line of cables hanging from the ceiling right in my sight line. But the crowd was loud, there was a high school pep band there, atmosphere was good and fans were tennis fans if that makes sense .
