Duane Forde and Rod Black was actually saying before Tate got hit that DD told them he would like the Riders to hit Tate right away to get rid of the nerves.

Tate played well but he wasn't perfect. There was some instance that he could have run the ball himself. He slowed down looking for receivers. That one play before he almost go off the line of scrimmage was one play that i was talking about. He does have presence of mind to find the line of scrimmage before dumping the ball to Mo Price though. He's so fired up all game and i am just glad he did not force the ball and did not make any mistakes. I hope this one playoff game will help him against the BC Lions next week.

Bring on the Potheads!! GO STAMPS GO!!

Just a figure of speech in the football world. It's not Chamblin's fault George took it literally

I never heard of that site, no reason to but I checked it out after reading this and could not believe the mindless inbred level of trash there and the comments about Tate and the loss of his Gandmother. Now i realize there is valid reason for my hatred towards so many Rider fans.

I don't think there's a football coach out there that hasn't used that phrase, pretty standard talk, particularly among the more old school types.

I fully agree its a general football term used at all levels of football for years its the same message to a team as "hit hard and finish your hit". Usually It doesn't mean a HC is saying literally hit players in the mouth.

With that said I thought George's hit was extremly dirty and intential. They should have considered tossing George from the game or the ref should have went directly to Chamberlain and warned if this BS continues your going to have your players ejected from the game.

At least the refs threw the flags on the Un neccesary roughness, roughing the passer and then the deliberate facemask on Cornish. All on the same drive. Both defenders actually facemasked him.

Either the D for Sask was trying to take key players out the game on the Stamps or they were told to, it was IMO a strange series of consecutive events.

As much as I would love to rag on the Riders I think it is just a case of a defense pumped up knowing they need to stop Cornish to have a chance in the game.

That said I think George had a few dirty plays this year so may be something with him.

Either way I doubt Chamberlain told guys to make dirty plays.

It is amazing on RF how this loss doesn't really mean anything now and the Riders are some young, up and coming team ready to go on a big run next year.

Prider fans are always delusional about their team but this reaction might take the cake for vastly overrating the (lack of) talent they have on their team.

It's pretty amazing how a team that lost its last five games can be spun as 'on the upswing' whereas the team that won 12 is 'overrated and two Edmonton missed FGs away from being the worst team in the league'. Or 10-8, but Rider fans have never been fans of counting.

That riders place is epic.....yikes. Didn't know that the entire world was against lil ol Saskatchewan.....wonder what the world wants from them? Can't be their fans, or women, or weather, or....well.....anything. Maybe their wheat, but that would be stretch too.

As for Cornish...good for him. At least he has a reason to actually hate a fan base and treat it accordingly. Screw the whole damn lot of snot faced, potash sucking, green gobs of goo. I wonder if the West ever seceded from the rest of the country, who would take that wasteland between Alberta and Manitoba?

Gawd I hate that freakin team and, for the most part, fan base.

They do have the youngest roster in the league but just barely younger than the Stampeders and Eskimos. Fact is though if you go by starting roster the Stampeders are the youngest team in the league but that is something that would get lost over there with all the bogus hype and blind faith.

When you consider the Stampeders nearly turned over their entire offense in the past few years you have to think they will be a top team for the foreseeable future with a potent, young offense and the best young kickers in the league. As for the Riders I personally can't see then improving too much given Durant is what he is and Dressler just had his career season and Getzlaf is on the decline and their special teams are a mess.

Lions on the other hand have to win now as they have the oldest starting receivers and defensive secondary in the league.

That pre-game speech from Chambelin was so annoying. You watch Huff's speech and you see the difference in experience.

I was annoyed by all the "hit em in the mouth" "our house" BS. You deserve to lose, moron!

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

I'm a very rare breed of person who is from SK but a fan of a different team (Stamps).

I'm fine with you hating on the fan base, because frankly they're the most unbearable fan base i've encountered in any sport.

But let's take it a step back and not rip on the province, shall we? I grew up along the SK/AB border - it's not as though we're comparing apples and oranges here. I'm not trying to start a debate, but these are both, after all, 'prairies'. There is a lot of similarity in the landscape, crappy weather, etc in both provinces.

And a wasteland in between Alberta and Manitoba...have you been to Manitoba?

Not to mention, sustaining players year to year in the CFL just doesn't happen for the most part. Any young core pieces that are impactful players will usually try their luck in the NFL.

It's bad enough that Lewis apparently tweeted the above, it doesn't need to be repeated...

I sure hope it is repeated all week. Lions were already going to blow out the Riders/Stamps anyways just adds fuel to the fire.

Whatever floats your boat, I guess - Will you be around to take your lumps if the Stamps win?

Surprising the CFL is even bothering to play the game.

Just curious, how did you feel going into the Kings series?

Well there is the revenue from the game to be considered. But methinks all he is saying is the Lions are the big favourites and its hard to argue with that.
