Speaking of Washington State -- anyone ever been to Pullman to watch a game? Any tips and/or suggestions of where to go and what to see?

Bama recruit Deon Johnson was arrested again, first time was 2nd degree rape and sodomy on the 8th and last night was arrested for 1st degree rape on a different case in general.

I can't believe they're even talking about games this weekend.

Scheduling their annual out of conference may result to wins but not so with credibility or strength of schedule.

This year the all mighty out of conference opponents for Suckeyes.

Miami Ohio W Pounding
UCF W Pounding
Cal a decent opponent W late close 35-28
UAB W

2011

Akron W Pounding
Toledo W Close 27-22
Miami (the U) L
Colorado W Pounding

2010

Marshall W Pounding
Miami W
Ohio W Pounding
E. Michigan W Pounding

2009

Navy W Close 31-27
USC L
Toledo W Pounding
New Mexico W Pounding

Seems like OSU has a thing for paying every other Ohio football programs funding.

Not a Buckeye fan, but I find it hilarious that a UM fan is playing this card. Here are UM's non-conference games over the same time period:

2012

Bama
Air Force
U Mass
ND

2011

Western Michigan
ND
Eastern Michigan
SD State

2010

UConn
ND
U Mass
Bowling Green

2009

Western Michigan
Eastern Michigan
ND
Delaware State

So your point is what exactly??

Michigan State's non conference over that period:

09
Montana State
Central Michigan
Notre Dame
Western Michigan

10
Western Michigan
Florida Atlantic
Notre Dame
Northern Colorado

11
Youngstown State
Florida Atlantic
Notre Dame
Central Michigan

12
Boise State
Central Michigan
Notre Dame
Eastern Michigan

Looks like the point is every Big 10 school schedules Notre Dame and a bunch of easy schools. This shouldn't shock anyone. Or did you just want to put the screws to Stay Golden a little?

Every school schedules like that, which is my point. For a UM fan to try to use that as some sort of shot at OSU is ridiculous.

There are maybe a handful of teams, if that, that are in any position to point at the non-conference schedules of anyone else.

That's where you're wrong. Any and every shot should be taken at Ohio state university. Why? Because #### them that's why.

WVU leads Baylor 42-35 just into the 3rd quarter, and Geno Smith is 29-32 for 350 yards and 5 TDs. The defenses shouldn't even bother taking the field for the rest of the game, they certainly haven't up to this point.

Edit: And now he's 34-38 for 440 and 6TDs. He might go for 650 yards and 10 TDs today.

What a catch by JD Woods who gained the first down, which kept West Virgina on the field to win the game.

Can't wait for this weekend.

WVU vs. Texas
UGA vs. South Carolina
LSU vs. Florida

And the second best thing to me besides a UT win would be a Notre Dame loss to Miami. We can then stop overrating them based on Big Ten wins when the Big Ten looks as good as the MWC.

My biggest complaint from the game is that the refs called so many penalties.

Been a rough start to the season, Utah just doesn't have the depth right now to overcome injuries. Win or lose season tickets are worth it...the atmosphere at college game is amazing.

South Carolina and Florida both looking mighty impressive yesterday, Florida might not have enough offense to win it all but that defense is outstanding, especially in the second half of games this season, the true sign of a great defense. South Carolina has a complete enough team to win it all, made Georgia look really bad yesterday. Still not sure what to make about WVU, I'd love to see them play a real defense but odds are they won't before the NCG, assuming they get there. And gotta give the golden domers their due, defense also looks very strong. And yeah nobody is gonna like having Irish fans coming back in droves again, but its good to have Notre Dame competitive for college football. Never fun rooting against an opponent that sucks because that never produces the heartbreaking moments that make it fun to root against them.

True,,,but...that LSU offense was horrific as well. Hard to believe a NC contending team could barely muster 200 yds offense in a game against a rival. Even a weaker Tennessee team was better than that against Fla.
