Watch the highlights and you can see his feet outside of the goal line, it wasn't a safety

Apparently the new nickname for the Bombers' D. Not sure if self-bestowed or not.

The Bombers' crowd is absolutely unbelievable. I miss Canad Inns stadium...wish I was home right now.

Hmm, Black and Forde seem to be referring to the city as Swaggerville. Who knows.

Great to see Edmonton lose after so many crap wins that were handed to them.

While both teams had hot starts I think both these teams start to come back to earth and finish near the bottom of the league where they belong.

In a supposed battle of the top teams it was really an awful game from both teams.

It was the most complete game by far that the Bombers have played all season.

The offense relied on 2 big plays and was pretty dead all game long. I realize that 2 good offensive plays is 2 more than they had all season but that offense looked really bad for 95% of the game.

LOL....what, now you are faulting them for making two plays that accounted for only half of their offense? I'd also like to hear the explanation for how they won 4 games previously without making any "good offensive plays."

It's pretty amazing the stuff you come up with to discredit teams that are playing better than the one you support.

I am not faulting them for doing it I am pointing out that they were for the most part bad offensively this game.

Defense, special teams, refs (last week) and bad opponents.

Playing better??

I guess I missed that game where the Stamps brought their F game and beat the Bombers.

Even if they didn't do great offensively outside of the two plays (and I'm not really sure what the point is of ignoring those plays), all other parts played a very good game, culminating in a well-deserved victory.

Funny that you bring up bad opponents, considering the Stamps have their two of their three victories against the winless Lions and the Bombers, who are apparently one of the worst teams in the league, by your own words.

To address both you and Beerfest:

I am fully aware that the Stamps beat the Bombers...by a measly two points if memory serves.

It is absolutely absurd logic to state that a team is playing better football than another because they beat them (by an extremely close margin) in one game three weeks ago.

I was never arguing that just pointing out that they had a weak offensive game which makes it odd that it was a complete game.

I have been nothing but disappointed and critical of the Stamps play/season so far. And the bad opponents wasn't just a criticism of the Bombers but a comment on the lack of quality in every team in the CFL this season.

It is early on so there isn't much to go on so far. I also think that a head to head game has about as much meaning as one extra win 6 games into the season.

In terms of who is playing better than who outside of BC, Sask and TO I don't think anyone is really playing any better than anyone else as the top 5 teams are all playing fairly mediocre at best.
