No it is ####ing isn’t. Until your rights are at risk at every election or you worry about your safety walking down the road holding hands with your partner, or politicians try to dictate whether you can talk about your sexual orientation at school or which bathroom you can use then you can make a call on this.

Keep screaming at the air. I'm not trolling. Where do you draw the line with who has a say on anything? That proposition is ridiculous.

Transphobes and homophobes are the aggressors not the victims. Supposed cancel culture has killed exactly 0 transphobes or homophobes.
It is deeply offensive that you are equating “cancel culture” with homophobia…especially during Pride.

No it's not. You're statements are using hyperbole to sensationalize. Who said anything about celebrating him? And why can't a person be forgiven for something they did? Has he killed anyone? Keep feeling offended, your assertion is ridiculous that society as a whole can't move past a misinformed person who tweeted something.

Letting him catch the opening pitch IS celebrating him.
I’m happy with letting a misinformed person move forward but not ok with letting him centre himself at a god damn Pride event within weeks of sharing a video that called queer people like me satanic.

I guess that depends where you stand on forgiveness as a whole and that's where society comes in. I'm not part of that community but am a minority. If someone tweeted the same thing about minorities, sure it'd be offensive. And sure it technically could give ammo for others to think the same and do harmful things, but if he was sorry, and wanted to make amends, and was in the same position to kick off some event, I wouldn't be angry about it. Now if this was a person with a terrible track record and they were doing it for show but goes back to doing it it would reflect back on them. It's where you are on the spectrum of forgiveness, and I have no problem with it if the Jays feel he's sincere. Sorry for getting worked up myself.

You can forgive without putting a guy front and centre in an event that is supposed to celebrate the people he called demonic…just saying. He can make amends in a million ways that doesn’t involve him taking over a space that is supposed to celebrate queer people.

Ideally, Berrios can pitch into the 7th with Kikuchi and a Bowden Francis/bullpen day coming up. The bullpen is going to be heavily used over the next two outings. Even if we don’t win the game, a long outing from Berrios would be a win in and of itself.
KK is definitely done and might be out for a while.

Kirky! Back to back games with a huge hit.
Jays running into bad luck with that ground rule double.

Pitcher is clearly struggling and they send the slowest runner in the majors home from 2nd on a single? I'm not sure I like that call.

Not sure sending Kirk there was a good idea.

At least it was close. Normally when Rivera sends a runner, that runner is out by 10 feet.
