On behalf of Richie (the culprit) and our team, we apologize for that SJ.

I am just glad it wasn't one of the bigger players like myself that rounded that base to find her on it. Just the inning before, myself and I believe Aeneas gave her a heads up that if the ball goes into the outfield and there is no play at first to move towards the pitcher to get out of the way of the runner.

The runner is looking at the ball going into right field and doesn't always see someone (nor expect them) standing on first.

I hope she is OK. I know Richie feels bad about it, and in no way intended to bump into her whatsoever.

As per Kokanee league tradition we're expected to just show up and they'll throw something together when we get there.

I've been checking the NSA site but so far - nothing. I assume coach will let us know as soon as he hears. I guess just be prepared to load up and head out right after work on Friday.

what time is everyone going down to okotoks? Anyone going before the game early enough to get tents set up before the game? I have the whole day off so wanted to head out early to get set up and the walk to diamonds

I was kind of crossing my fingers that we don't play friday. Depending on the time I may not be able to make it. Will we have enough guys?I'll be there Saturday and Sunday (if there are games those days) for sure.

Its not that I dont really camp, its just that I'm really lazy. I dont want to go through the hassle of buying, bringing and keeping food. Beer, sure. But food?

Hunting and foraging is not what I'd consider an acceptable alternative.
