On a side note, Springer is still signed for two more seasons after this one. When the Jays signed him he was a fit guy in the prime of his career. And he still bombed his contract. Should be a warning to anyone on here that Vlad and Bo should be signed beyond 6 years. These contracts never age well.

Great Orelvis Martinez banned for 80 games for PEDs...sums up the season so far. Kid gets his first hit and could be a bright spot only to go and get suspended.

The guy is 22. I'm not totally buying into the fertility treatment thing. Anyway, it sucks, but so has almost everything about this season.

I wonder about that shot to the noggin Springer took in the 2022 WC series when he collided with Bo.

He has literally not been the same player since.

Yes, pretty dubious at best. I am sure his Gf cant be much older.

Regardless, it's the wild west of medicine and doctors down there, it's where the Oilers medical staff trains.

Timing seems suspect too. Was this already in the works with Buffalo or was this a test he got when in the majors last week?

Either way did he possibly get called up so he could get suspended at the major league level (does that matter vs being in the minors when getting suspended, serious question?) and get the major league suspension out of the way?
