I am a big Mahomes fan but his whining about that one call was ridiculous. Best part is it was a good call lol. And it's crazy Reid doubled down with him and echoed his sentiments. The Chiefs get away with so many calls, so they might want to tone it down on how the refs are out to get them.
Low key want the Broncos to win the division to see insanity.
In past seasons they might not call that. But if anyone knows that the league is enforcing lining up on the Line of Scrimmage, it should be the Chiefs from the Jawaan Taylor calls earlier in the season. Just been a season where the team has been out of sorts from the start with the cheis Jones hold out and Kelce injury to the bad drops and now they're whining about officiating. Hopefully they smarten up for next season. It's been a good run, and I think they'll be back soon. Just wish they would have drafted LaPorta this past draft.
At least those who are sick of the Chiefs will get to see something like a Baltimore vs Miami AFC Title game this year for a change.

Plus, Toney could have looked over to the red and asked if he was lined up offside. 95% of wideouts so it. KC is acting like it they're beyond the rules at that point. And I'm a fan of Pat and Andy.

I've read reports that Toney thought he did that but got no response. The fact that he didn't get a you're good means he should have double checked himself.
Looking in the past and crying about it is for losers though. K.C needs to get back to focusing on Football and what they can control. They fumbled when driving to take the lead earlier, got the ball back and went 3 and out. Than can't get a tying field goal. So plenty of other missed chances.
Offence is a mess and I hope Matt Nagy is not back next year.

Cowboy fans are surely seeing how this season ends right? Aubrey's first miss will be in the playoffs, down 3 or less, and it'll be a 27 yarder.
You bite your tongue! (But also...I'm definitely living in fear of what will happen come this postseason). Hoping it's finally different, and playoff Dak is a thing of the past.
Always happy beating the Eagles and watching their scum of the earth fans cry. Not all of them, as I know some good ones, but there are so many bad ones.
Barnwell's article on ESPN today breaking down the weakness of the teams who lost yesterday (that matter anyway), and yeah it's ironic the Chiefs played the Bills because the Chiefs WRs are terrorists. By far the worst drop rate in the league (8%, only the Jets are above 5% at 5.1%), it's the worst drop rate in more than a decade by a full percentage point. Even worse is their deep ball drop rate at 12% (!!!), also by far the worst in a decade. Wonder how much of Mahomes meltdown yesterday was just his anger with their scrub receivers costing them games finally coming to a boil.

It's likely the hissyfit is a reaction to the fact that they've lost 4 of 6 games, and he's realizing that as is their offence is not very good and him recognizing that this team is not going to fix things.

Mahomes is fast becoming one of the most unlikeable players in the league.
I hate the Chiefs, well mostly Andy Reid, but I really like Mahomes. That press conference after the game was ridiculous though and this whining is really off putting.
It would be amazing if they missed the playoffs a year after they won a Superbowl.

I've been a Chiefs fan for many years, and through a lot of dark times. I love Mahomes and Reid, but this debacle is just embarrassing. I do think that it's more a reaction to these receivers basically sabotaging things all season though. I just can't help but think that behind closed doors, or later this week Mahomes will realise that this is just completely unsportsmanlike.
There's a video floating around suggesting that Toney did check. It's as he walks up to the line though, and there's no way that was a check. Incidentally, Rashee Rice did check on the same play and that's in the video also.

Excuse my ignorance but what does checking do? He was still offside.
