Jack Sock is back and winning (he recently won a Challenger tourney) and defeated Nishioka earlier today at the Newport, Rhode Island grass tourney.

Good, rest up for Rogers Cup and US Open. I'm kind of hoping FAA drops out too now.
Just need Fernandez, Fichman and Dabrowski in Tokyo.

I don't know, next Olympics are in Paris at Rolland Garros so this is a better chance for FAA to medal.

It's honestly interesting to me that there are separate medals for different distances in every racing related sport at the Olympics but only one for tennis, and you just treat whatever surface the home city offers as equivalent. Should be separate medals for separate surfaces.

I don't need Djokovic winning 4 golds.

He's still needs one, although I think he has a bronze medal from 2008 after he took out James Blake. Blake earlier upset Federer.

I forgot how good Fernando Gonzales was. 2004 AO final, 2004 Doubles Gold Medal, 2008 Singles Silver Medal.

The guy is a freak of nature and his flexibility is insane, of course it wasn't always this way, remember when he was mocked by opponents for pulling the chute on matches when he was trailing?

Vasek is still playing doubles in Rhode Island on the grass and he and his partner Austin Krajicek won their match 6-3 7-6 (12). Yes, 14-12 in the second set tie-break.

His accent to GOAThood is very similar to Roger. Remember when Roger first arrived on the scene he was called a brat and would frequently lose early in slams.

When Federer lost to Nalbandian in the 2005 ATP Finals, up two sets! I declared Federer a choker that would amount to nothing

Wouldn’t he already have bagged 6 slams by then? To be fair Nalbandian totally had his number in those early years as #1.
