I’m so glad White Lotus S2 is living up to the hype. Only two episodes in but it’s amazing so far.

I thought I was into the greatest series ever after the first episode of The Old Man, but pretty disappointed with where things went in episode 2. I’ll stick with it still, but darn.

The Mosquito Coast is back for Season 2. Might not be everyone's bag but I really like it.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Yeah. I expected to be disappointed after possibly the greatest single season performance of any actor back in season 1, but it is really great again.

Jonathan Pryce as the 60+ year old Duke of Edinburgh is really stealing the show in the current season of The Crown. Tonight I finished episode 6 and I'm enjoying this season a lot more than season 1.
I don't love Dominic West as Charles, he just seems..wrong for the role, not awkward enough. But the actress who plays Diana is stellar in the few episodes she's been in so far. Imelda Staunton as the queen also portrays an excellent QEII.
I can't remember one moment from the last few seasons, and I might rewatch them again. If anything to see Coleman and Menzies' iterations

Apparently, Yellowstone season 5 starts tonight but I cannot find any way to watch it. The Paramount channel on my shaw is showing last season. The only thing I can see is a date of Nov 19 on prime. Anyone know more?

I see you need the $9.99 Paramount + addon for Prime now. Off to the Pirate store...

Time to hoist the flag and set sail.

Brutal. Yep, the alternative is just pirating it. Too bad.

Elizabeth Debicki rules in most things.
And yeah, Dominic West is way to handsome and normal to be Charles.

The fact that the first 4 seasons were included on Amazon makes this pretty egregious. I wouldn't have started watching if it had been on another service the whole time. I think this is how drug addicts feel. You got me hooked, guess I gotta turn to getting it another way.
Having every movie studio and TV channel come up with their own separate streaming service s is awful.

It's not worth watching.
That show jumped the shark many many episodes ago.

This show has always been a unique mess in terms of how it is shown in the US as well. You need a cable or cable-like service with the Paramount network, which really doesn't show anything else of note. It isn't even on the Paramount+ service in the US, which is their big play in the streaming world. Past seasons are on Peacock which is their direct competitor.
The show is terribly frustrating. Cinematography looks great (put the Paramount channel's PQ is pretty awful), the stories are still somewhat compelling and I like Costner in the role. But there are so many silly and pointless story arcs, and seem to have to dedicate 20-30% of the episodes to promoting other series or products. They built in a 10 minute commercial for Buffalo Trace brands into yesterday's episode that just insults the viewers.

Yeah, that was pretty bad. Not sure where they were going with calling the Canadian cops sheep. Speaking of cringe, what was the point of dedicating 5 min to cowboys lassoing each other?
Someone needs to edit out about 30% of the scenes in this show that are ridiculously irrelevant and un-interesting.

I didn't watch the show, I'm done with it, but would suspect that the "sheep" comment is aimed at their audience, who if I was to bet are Freedumb Fighters.

"Take them to the train station" is a favorite phrase among convoy supporters as they think it's some kind of clever, tongue-in-cheek way to call for the public executions of politicians and health officials.
The same people that think a strong female character is one that has the #### repeatedly beat out of her but continues to swear, smoke, and just have the ongoing temperament of a rabid c###.
Somehow the show is still a guilty pleasure of mine, but I'm having to hold my nose more and more with the direction it's heading. It's transitioning into a "series I gave up on".

I'm not a monarchy fan, but I've been really enjoying this series. I finished this season and it was one of the better ones. Disappointed it's over as they could have had at least one more season with where they left it off.

They're visible for anyone with a prime subscription. But you can only watch them if you have a Paramount sub too.
