And Green Bay is liking their chances of winning that Division a lot more now.

Although McCown was a band aid, and not a long term solution in Chicago. Realistically he is not going to lead that team to the Superbowl. At best they win the Division and last one playoff game which I'm sure they would like, but they might as well see if they can do it with Cutler. This allows them to get 3 more viewings of Cutler and make a decision if they are going to go with him moving forward, or if they keep McCown and draft a QB in the coming draft and part ways with Cutler.

Week 15 kicks off tonight with San Diego @ Denver.

Important game for both teams. Chargers need to win to have any chance of getting in as the last Wildcard spot. Broncos want to keep that #1 seed. Manning is only 5 TD's away from tying the all time record for passing TD's in a season (50).

I say Broncos win by 10.

The problem I have with the Cutler decision is what happens if he plays terribly this weekend? McCown has handled this whole thing very well, and knows his role. But the fans are going to be very angry if the Bears lose with Cutler playing bad, and will view the decision to go back to Cutler as the one that cost them the division.

For Trestman its a lot of risk.

Fans will be angry in the short term, but I think Emery and Trestman feel secure enough with their jobs to take a longer term look on this. If Cutler plays terribly, he's likely not back as a Bear going forward. If they don't play him they either franchise him and have a controversy all year next year, or let him go and watch him thrive without being sure either way. It's not like the Bears were guaranteed the Division, they are still essentially a game back of Detroit and a half game up on Green Bay and facing a must win against them later on.

Looks like Manziel is going to declare. Probably a smart move financially, but I can't help thinking he would've been better off in college for one more year.

That was really easy for Denver. Manning with his 46th TD (4 behind Brady's all time record).

Being a bit harsh there. He made a comment about Manning getting a TD, and acknowledged a record that is a hot topic right now. I probably would've done the same thing.

Bronco's miss Vickerson's presence. They simply have no ability to stop the run.

If they can't manage to come back in this game they're going to need to go through Foxborough which is an up hill battle. Hell, the wild card game is going to be an uphill battle with no defense.

47 TDs now.

Brady's record is falling. Enjoy the last fleeting moments.

It's only a game, why you heff to be mad?

Just got home from work, Denver doesn't look like they've been doing well. Did cold weather Manning show up?

Manning hasn't looked great but San Diego has run the ball at will completely controlling the game and clock.

Whoops.

Edit: only 18 rushing yards? Not winning many games with that.

Not gonna win a playoff game with this defense. Untimely bad penalties, and stayed on the field way too long. Can't expect to put up +40 points in January.

didn't watch the game at all- but very surprised Denver lost this one at home.
Just a bad game? or are they not as good of a team as people think?

They're no Seattle that's for sure.

I used to think it's because teams were always playing from behind that the D looked bad. Realistically without Bailey and Vickerson they're D is just flat out bad.

Yea forget super bowl, they won't even win a playoff game unless they can figure out the defense and running game.

Mostly the D though. Yikes. Sucks they might piss away Peyton's greatest season yet by not being able to put up a D behind him.
