What a play! Mbappe just couldnt hit the target and Giroud just misses.

Well that's why the early goal was so crucial for France, now they can sit back and play to counter and force Morocco to come at them. Although it should probably already be 3-0 France so maybe they'll regret not scoring those goals.

Yeah, because France can have a tendency to get a little too casual, a little too slow and make a mistake.

Thought Morocco were very lucky to get through the first 35 not down by 2 or more and with another yellow card or two but that last 10 was the most positive football I've seen them play all tournament and easily could have levelled it.
Love how this second half is set up.

I get why France are fine to sit back and invite pressure, all it's gonna take is one ball to get Mbappe away, but at some point they'll need to start trying take control of this game again. Because if Morocco do level it'll be full bus mode from them and that'll be difficult to breach.
