Well you certainly knew this was coming after surrogates went out last night to deny the WaPo story: They are now firmly under the bus, yet again. Why do they do it to themselves for the orange goblin?
They sleep on a pile of money surrounded by beautiful women
Brian Williams on the 11th hour last night compiled all those statements from candidate Trump about Hillary and classified info in a hilariously bad clip of Trump confidently talking about how important it is to be trusted with such info and how Hillary can't be trusted to keep our secrets after being briefed.
I'm sure it will be up on YouTube sometime soon, Morning Joe showed it 2 times this morning as well.
Trump is always railing against the press, and if it wasn't for the press, no one would even know how much he is ####ing up, due to his incompetence and mental instability.
and yet, people still support him, how bright can they be?
I swear he is doing this just so he can get out of the job at this point. His ego is far too massive to say "I can't do it! It's too much! I'm underqualified!". But his ego can take the blow if he manages to convince a large chunk of his base that "he was set up" or some other such nonsense. It allows him his dignified exit.
Well dignified in his mind given he'll have his core supporters in his pocket still. It will be far from dignified to anyone else.
This is the second time in under a week where he sent out his spokespeople to tell one story only to destroy what they said the next morning by telling a completely different story.
A neat article looking at how the partisanship displayed by the Republican house at this point in time is quite typical of how the parties have behaved historically during crisis.

I'm wondering if he becomes the first president to be walked out. Probably in a straight jacket.
He is also destroying the right wing gun nut argument that the right to bear arms exists to prevent tyrannical government.

I was of this mindset up until last week. But now, doesn't he have a legitimate look at prison time if this is all real? It's like he just wants out as fast as possible, but doesn't realize not all options end up with him just going back to his dark tower.

Nothing would satisfy him more than to be martyr for his cause and be worshiped for decades by his cult.
Also Spicey is good as gone I think. It's all about appearances to Der Pumpkinfuhrer and Spicey embarrasses him.
If Louise Mensch and Claude Taylor have solid sourcing, things are about to get really fun.

The U.S. Marshals Service presented a plan to a senior Justice Department official yesterday for the service of warrants in the Trump-Russia inquiry, separate sources with links to the intelligence and law enforcement communities report.
The extensive plan was approved yesterday by a senior Justice Department official who is closely involved in prosecuting the case.
Sources say that the extensive plan, multiple pages in length, covered not only the serving of warrants, but logistical arrangements such as the closure of streets, if necessary.
They further report that while timing is uncertain, such plans are normally only presented and approved when arrests are imminent.
Patribotics knows the identity of the senior justice official who approved the plan, and the court in which it was approved. We are redacting that information for now.
Well, it's a nice fantasy. But until it gets into WaPo or NYT or somewhere similar I just can't believe anything at all anymore.

Those 2 are like the Eklund of TrumpRussia. They promise so much. They constantly say things are imminent, happening soon, then when questioned "when? why hasn't it happened yet?" repeatedly kick the can down the road saying "judiciary needs to get its ducks in a row"
They do have sources, so when they say "sources say..." that means there is usually some truth to it. But I do not trust their prophesies one bit.
