This season is similar to the last.... slow start and then pick it up later on... except everything is happening earlier

Some kind of night for Saunders.

Keep piling it on, looks great on the O's. Despicable team.

Another Jays record set today:

Blue Jays: scored 10+ runs in 5 of last 7 games. 1st time in franchise history scoring at least 10 runs in 5 games within a 7-game stretch.

Funny I was going to post something along these lines after he hit the first HR. If you go back a couple months I was on the I miss Rivere train. I would like to eat some crow. Saunders has been fantastic and while he might be a bit of a downgrade defensively I'm sure glad we have him.

After he hit is third I was positively giddy.

Tied with the BoSox, 1 behind the Orioles with a chance tomorrow to catch them

I've never wanted anyone to hit a jack in a game where we're leading by 11 as much as I did with Saunders there. I wonder if he had hit the 4th, if he'd had done the Joe Thornton.

Funny a few weeks ago Blue Jays drinking game consisted of drinking whenever the blue jays hit into a double play, failed to score with a RISP, had runners and first and second with none out and failed to score.

Now Blue jays drinking games consist of every time the blue jays score a run.

Both have had equal results.

Nice to see them rolling now, especially with the booming offense finally returning to form.

Starting pitching has found their groove again after a bit of struggling from a few of the guys. I still worry what will happen when Sanchez has to come out of the rotation. It will be good for the bull pen obviously, but the rotation certainly won't be as strong.

I am hoping that Atkins and Co. address that at the trade deadline so moving Sanchez to the bullpen will be easier for the team

It's nice for the offence to give our pitchers a bit of a margin for error. So many situations, especially for our bullpen, where they had to pitch perfectly to keep the game within reach. Even for Sanchez the other night to have pitched so well only for the Jays to lose it in the 10th.
