Read what?
Youse first base line benchers youse....
Actually, we appreciate you taking that side. Several young kids on our side that are bad enough to keep an eye on there, let alone on the first base side.
Anyhoo, you guys did well tonight. Deb pitched very well. Couldn't believe how she kept us to hitting mainly on the ground all night. Good job!
Troutman was noticibly absent. But considering I rarely walk anyone, I didn't expect the "Designated Slo-Pitch Walking Professional" to attend.

Missed you being there though bud.
Aeneas, man o man. All I call say to you is that you are my biggest disapointment of this season. In all the leagues and tournaments I play.
And don't take that the wrong way!
Your knee injury right out of the gate robbed us all of seeing an incredible ball player out there doing his best game in game out. You can play the game dude. To even come back and play ANY ball this year is amazing, but I know how well you can play. My only hope is that this winter heals you back to perfection. Having a bad knee myself I know your frustration.
I know thoughts of next year are early at this time, but I do think you all should consider the Central league as I see it as a very good fit for you versus the Kokanee league. Food for thought and discussion over the quiet season when all we have is hockey to entertain us.
Lastly, to both CP teams, I am, and always be, committed to helping you both develop.
What happened this year is awesome. Two teams evolved out of a freakin'
internet junction box. New friendships developed on a scale you didn't expect at this time last year. Undoubtedly, some memories of these months will live with you forever. And next year there will be more.
I love this sport. I love the team(s) that I have grown into over the years. Our Taz team has been together (with minute changes) for 12 years. Our Warriors team has been together (again, with slight changes) for 6 years.
Those are some lasting friendships, and it translates onto the field.
You CPers are going to develop that. People will be begging to get onto your team, and over time your team will develop into powerhouses that build lasting relationships. It will happen. It IS happening already.
See you on the diamonds everyone. Thanks for a fun season from both teams. Looking forward to the playoffs.
