Huh? He let the media bully him into being a coward in year two, and they generally hate him and think he's everything wrong with analytics. He's pretty much a pariah.

You must read/listen to different media that I do.
I repeatedly hear about how great he is for using analytics for going for it. Excuse his terrible decisions because he went with what the analytics say even when analytics have nothing to do with it.
He still gets called a genius and a defensive guru despite nothing but evidence to the opposite.
