Why do some companies continue to solicit my business even after I already give them my business? I'm tired of getting a couple pieces of mail every month from these insurance companies. I'm am APEGA member and they have member rates with Manulife for life insurance and with The Personal for home and auto insurance. I've had life insurance with Manulife for around ten years and have home, auto and condo insurance with The Personal. They each send me mailers every month telling me that as an APEGA member I am entitled to special rates and what not.

makes sense . other humans inevitably won't activate dopamine pathways the same way that smart phones are literally designed to do . it is virtually impossible to be a better or more interesting companion than someone's phone , unless you can offer them a happy ending

Maybe you need a blinking light on top of your daughter's head? I have heard that is very effective.

We need laws on headlights. They're so overpowered now it's insane.
Add in absent minded driver's who forget they have their high beams on. It's infuriating.
Like you don't even need high beams now a days.
Nothing makes me angrier than my eyes being blinded by ludicrously bright white light.

Any screws that are used in a plumbing fixtures of any kind should be ferromagnetic.
Just lost a screw from the shower drain plate down the drain. It’s under water, probably in the p-trap and I can’t imagine a way to fish it out.

is this people putting HID/LED bulbs in reflector lenses instead of upgrading to the proper projector style lens? or just poorly aimed head lights?
my truck is lifted 7.5" and sits on 35" tires. i've yet to have a single vehicle "flash" their lights at me. properly aimed headlights makes a huge difference.
i do know what you mean though - i'm amazed at how often i'm blinded by an oncoming vehicle, and like i mentioned - i'm up pretty high. i can't imagine how blinding those vehicles would be if i was in a normal car.

Why do dishwasher makers and soap companies have to make it impossible to add rinse aid to them? You can’t pour them out of the container without spilling or over filling the reservoir. I’m sure there has to some kind of dishwasher/rinse aid cabal that makes it difficult on purpose. I would think that dishwasher manufacturers could make it easier.

When I'm driving at night and a jacked up truck is behind me, I can actually see a perfect shadow of my car (including me driving it) on the road in front of me. All of my mirrors turn into blinding death lights. But I'm glad they feel safe.

see... that's not cool in my view. the only time the car in front of me casts their own shadow is when i'm right behind them stopped at a red light. when the light changes to green i make sure there is enough distance between us so i'm not blinding the people in front of me. i'd pretty much have to be tail gating hard to blind them though (again... properly aimed headlights).
when i got my truck back after lifting it, that evening i got my wife to drive her car in front of me and told her to make sure my lights were good and not blinding. stuff like this isn't hard to check/fix and would make driving just a little more safe.

The most dangerous part of my drive is trying to keep straight while I am being blinded by an SUV with LED lights.

Acuras are the worst. Their stupid jewel LED's are by far the worst offending vehicles on the road when it comes to blinding oncoming traffic.

I agree, the Honda/Acura LED lights are awful but the newer Toyota's are catching up in regards to being offensive and blinding.

LOL, just had the same gear grinder this past weekend. Was disassembling the carpet cleaning machine head to wash the turbine over the sink and dropped a screw straight into the drain. I did need that screw... What should have taken 10 minutes took 2 hours with taking off the p-trap and cleaning the resulting mess thereafter. Oh, and btw, never, I mean NEVER use a bristle pipe brush to clean out the P-trap; you will regret it badly, like I have.

That is so irresponsible. He was a menace and should lose his license for a while, if not go to jail for a bit to learn a lesson about putting others in danger.

From what I know, if this is your first time being caught, you usually get the fine and suspension. I had a buddy getting caught doing 185 in a 110, and got a $1600 fine and a 45 day suspension, for instance.
