If all EA access is giving you is old sports games its not worth it for me, in a month those games are basically worthless...I already have BF4 what else could they be adding?
I don't have live because I dont have any xboxone games yet (been getting everything on PS4 because multiplats are better there) a double subscription would kill the deal totally for me

Likely their other games, PVZ, Need for Speed, NBA. Not a whole lot to begin with but I don't have Fifa or Madden, and it would cost more than $30 to buy both of those right now.
The 5 day early access to new games and the discounts is a bonus too though. Guess it depends if you value that.

The TLOU remake is perfect for a PS+ game in a year. Right now it's still too fresh in my mind for me to want to replay it, but by the time it goes for free on PS+ I should have an itch to pick it up again

I pretty much get all the consoles, well except that Ouya thing. But it certainly looks like the PS4 is going to the multiplatform game console for me with the difference in performance. Just like why the 360 was generally the choice versus the PS3 for multiplats.
Exclusives of course on their respective consoles.

well yeah but those sports games are basically worthless in a month...paying for early access to demos also rubs me the wrong way.
you would have to pay me to play NBA live lol
If they add more non sports games I will probably try it though, wish some other studios would do this
Real question is does it need live? double subscription payment is bad too

Here is the youtube feed of that Last of Us One Night Live event (HEAVY SPOILERS obviously). Seeing this live was worth it for Gustavo's performances alone. But the actors and their performances - god damn. 54 minutes and 104:30. Amazing how they totally shift and get into character to perform even in the midst of hiccups with the live process.
And Neil left his mic on at one point and you could hear him asking around backstage for the porn mag for the next scene.
And a pic from the exclusive live scene they did after they shut down the feed.
And Neogaf is doing some damn nice screenshots with the new in game Photomode in the PS4 version.

Your opinion there.
If you could get the likes of NHL15 alone for $30 a year, that would be an instant buy for most of us on this site. Throw in other sports games and it's a no brainer. Very jealous that this is XBOne exclusive.

But you won't, at least not right away -- NHL 15 might be added to the service this time next year, but they aren't going to be letting people stream all their brand new games for basically nothing.
Like any streaming service, it has potential, but considering both platforms already have online services that most people have which give them free games and discounts (usually on more interesting games, too), I don't know how good of an idea it is. I wouldn't bother with it if it was in PS4.

I am seriously considering this EA All Access. Heck im gone atleast 4 months of the year and that would give me 8 months of gameplay of many EA titles for $60/yr... or for the 8 months even.
I spend more than that on NHL alone... I think for the Ultimate Edition I am paying $80.00... No brainer. And finally an advantage to owning a Xbone ....
Just re-read and didnt realize $30/yr.
Does anyone have the list of games in the "Vault"?

I think its a really interesting model. For example I am interested in buying the new NHL and FIFA pretty much every year, but I would never get the other games (battlefield, madden). However, if they came free with the subcription and I get the discount on the latest NHL and FIFA, then why not have access to all that extra content.
Also, with the 5 day early access it would be nice to see if the improvements for sports games are marginal and worth the purchase each year. Otherwise keep the subscription and keep playing the old version.
I think its a no brainer for people who aren't up on the latest and greatest games and don't pre-order. Pay a low annual fee and get a selection (which will only increase) of a variety of games on your Xbox to keep you busy.
Interesting model and I think things like this are going to happen more and more in the gaming industry.

I think its $30/year. But you aren't getting the newest games. You'll get FIFA 14 for example.

Not sure what you mean by worthless? They will still sell for $30 or so used. Lots of people don't go out and get the newest versions right away. If you do get the new versions right away then you get early access to try them and a discount if you buy the game. Seems like a win win really.
If this is successful I think others will follow EA here. You don't need gold for this, but you do if you want to play online of course.

Whoops. Late night reading comprehension. Even then, signing up for $5 a month and buying all the $60 games with a $10 discount does offer some benefit.
A shame that Sony doesn't give the choice to its consumers though and instead making that decision for them.

In a months time nobody will be paying $30 for last years sports titles and online play will be shut down, that is what I mean

The key piece of missing information is how long it will take for a new game to hit all access list. If it's 6 - 9 months then people will be all over this.
