Well if that's the case, play both sides...
i.e.: strike out against us, but homer for us.
Even you should be able to leg out a four bagger with our infinite outfields.

Well, maybe not lead, but perhaps tag on for victory... as a side note, it's the other new team in the league we're playing tonight... they're all University students... and we've beat them before. SW guys, some hot chicks on that team!

I can try to get someone if we have no SW help...
edit: I am trying to get a buddy to come out anyway.

Hmm. We might. A couple of our players are seeing if they can get spares, but no word for certain yet.

OK PM sent to Rhettzky. I'm hitting the shower, having a bite to eat and then I should be brand new. Rhettzky let me know what time is good for you.

Wait a minute...is this a preemptive post to explain why you are not going to pitch on Sunday against the big bad boys from SW Puckers?
|
Naw, I'll be there! Hopefully healed up, but I'll be there nonetheless!

Of course they fared well. After playing in a harder league all year, they put their gloves on the wrong hands for your game! Well done lads.
I also played in Shawnski's league last night (what a drive to Marlborough) and I played poorly. Still, that got me a home run, 2 triples (one with error help) and either a single or double can't remember. 4 for 4.
It was busy at three and I made enough good plays to put fear and doubt in the Warriors hearts for Sundays game.
But then I made just enough errors at three to convince the Warriors to hit to me on Sunday night! All according to plan.
I have sown confusion; that combined with our prolific consmption of beer will produce sweet victory. Or at least more errors and hangovers...one of the two.

I think I was half decent at pitching last night, which I am happy about, but my hitting wasn't up to snuff.
Excellent spares, our regulars played well too. And, if anyone complains about that weather they need to give their head a shake- perfect summer night!

Damn, missed the "W". My other team won something like 48-13 last week when I didn't show up. Seems to me that a pattern is being established.
I heard TU did his best to make up for my absence though. I think he felt I started to encroach on his territory over the last couple games so I'm glad to hear he stepped it up a bit last night.
And Aeneas, there's only one person who calls those "home runs".

You would have been proud of our booze consumption last night coach. Rhettzky and I stepped it up since we were representin' the mighty SW.

Some of them are legit, I think.
I hit a "home run" last night that was not legit, the girl just missed it and then I did my velociraptor routine and that was that.
But I have probably hit 2 or 3 this year that would have been real homers... out of say, 15 "homers." Maybe next year we should play with fences so I can show you up even more?
Also yes, T_user was awesome. Didn't even make it to base after showing up half way through... he did you proud!

So, if we pro-rate the win is it what, 0.2 of a win for SW?
