Doesnt help the Rags however.
They have some serious cap issues.
I think i heard the other day they have 40M tied up every year for the next 3 years on contracts with NTC attached....as one example.
They really need to shed some AAV in a big way to be able to round out the roster.

The one player I want to sign is Connor Brown.
Interested to see where some of the aging vets go.

He's been linked to the Oilers for a while now, I just assume it's going to happen. Would be a decent signing it they can pull it off.

I think it would have to be a performance bonus type deal.

I don’t the Rangers are necessarily in the driver’s seat regarding keeping Lafreniere, although their cap situation isn’t terrible, I don’t know if they’d be able to fit a $6.1 mil Kotkaniemi style offer sheet. Laf has definitely shown more than Kotkaniemi showed up until his offer sheet. Compensation would be a first and a third, and they could see some offer sheet pressure on Miller as well.

Seravalli says he's hearing some stuff regarding goalie trades today.
Noted Ullmark and Vladar specifically.

Pittsburgh loses a LD dman that was playing 20+ minutes on average to free agency. Maybe they up their offer on Hanifin

Pittsburgh is not an ideal trade partner ... their prospect pool is terrible. Wheeler had it ranked 29th, with these being the top 10:
1 Owen Pickering, LHD, 18
2 Ty Smith, LHD, 22
3 Filip Hallander, C/LW, 22
4 Samuel Poulin, RW/LW, 21
5 Joel Blomqvist, G, 21
6 Filip Lindberg, G, 23
7 Isaac Belliveau, LHD, 20
8 Sergei Murashov, G, 18
9 Taylor Gauthier, G, 21
10 Jordan Frasca, C, 21
With Pickering being the top guy, then those from 2 to 6 in the next bracket. That's not a lot of intriguing options there. They do have all their 1sts and 2nds in the next few years though.
