Acolyte was terrible, horrible, no good, very bad.

But Episode 5 of Acolyte contains the 2nd best lightsaber battles of anything Star Wars.

Don't bother watching any other episode. Don't bother even reading the plot.

Just watch Episode 5.

Similarly - Star Wars Visions - watch the first episodes of each season. You won't regret it.

Whoever did the fight design for that episode was right on point. And the fact that they made a Sith that was likely an apprentice level wipe the floor with the Jedi could have made things really interesting story line wise.



However if we did see a Plageius taking on a Jedi Master it would have completely F'd up the prequels.

It was strange and jarring to have S-tier action suddenly on display amid a terrible show otherwise.

Imagine if they wrote a story that was actually interesting and honored GL's lore/timeline.

The latest from AFK using the unreal engine to make fan films. They manage to combine ludicris humor with some good story lines.

Yeah at least when Star Trek announced 'Section 31' they actually made and released it even after knowing it was going to suck out loud. Star Wars has been cancelling stuff or letting ideas die on the vine a lot lately.
