That is some chookity chop bull#### right there. Go #### yourselves WB.
I was pissed enough that they canceled it so that Rogers couldnt finish the story and they go and pull some straight up BS to essentially eliminate it from existence?
Dont get me wrong, from a financial aspect I can appreciate this move, its a property that has probably largely made all the money its ever going to make so if they get a write-off for it, it makes sense....if you dont GAF at all about the property.
But...have some goddamned integrity.
People worked on this, they poured their heart and souls into this and you are going to flush that all away for some infinitesimally negligible blip in your stock price?
Boo-urns I say!

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
While it was a busy episode with more on Chen and Bradford under cover and their hard feelings for each other where they were actively going to cheat on their significant others.
And while they speed closed the whole John being denied his training officer test due to machinations by the Union that he pissed off and they closed it by giving him a golden ticket to do anything role that he wanted for his heroics at the end of last year. This whole episode was about the ongoing story of Rosaline Dyer. The serial killer genius who tried to kill Lucy and tormented her afterwards. Has a particular effection for John. And seems to be good at recruiting apprentices to do her work for her.
Dyer is just flat out great TV. She's everything that a serial killer should be. Brilliant, soft spoken, manipulative, and she see's nothing wrong with her particular style of evil. And she explained it well to her escort to court who later took a pen to the brain from Dyer's lawyer to aid her escape.
Quote:
Rosalind: Do you think I'm a monster, Deputy Suriel.
Suriel: It's not my job to decide. Do you think you're a monster?
Rosalind: No. I think I'm a genius. I just had to the misfortune of excelling in mutilation instead of music.
In the end Rosalid escaped, she murdered her lawyers parents to help her apprentice. Then tracked down and gruesomely slit Lucy's boy friends wrists and left him in Lucy's apartment. The discovery scene was exceptional as Lucy and Bradford were pretty much about to knock boots when we saw the boyfriend on the couch.
In the end Dyer in a private jet phoned Nolan as she took off, basically letting him know that she's not done playing with him.
she's just an awesome villain.

I only realized a few months ago that I worked with her dad for a year.

Just realized the actress who played the nerdy kid in Ghostbusters Afterlife also plays one of the handmaids in the current season if The Handmaid's Tale.
Regardless how you feel about the shows, how amazing is it we have a Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars show running concurrently?
It's a great time for genre fans.
Star Trek too, with Lower Decks.
We watched The Rookie spin-off show Feds last night and I thought it was good. I feel like you like The Rookie, you would like this show (not surprising). Wasn't sure if the lead actress would be good or get grating but so far so good.

Correct. I just watched the DS9 episode, and It may have catapulted LD to the top of my favourite Treks.
Not an amazing cop show but I really enjoy it. Worth it for Nathan Fillion's charisma alone, like everything he does, but solid on it's own merits as well
I used to watch Young & Restless 30 years ago with college rooomates.
Turn it on today, and Victor and Jack have not aged a day. #### me!

It was weird, I was a kid and the show (at the time) had a lot of spy stuff which sucked me in at first, then next thing I knew I was like every day waiting to find out what was happening next lol.
Is this a soap opera or are they actually doing the books and respecting the 1st movies "feel"?
I really don't want to watch it if it's going to eff up what I have in my head from the books or play more like like Queen of the damned vs. Interview (God bless Alyah, she almost saved that movie from Stuart Townsend)
I guess my question is, is it more like Interview with a Vampire or Queen of the Damned?
I'm also super choked they never got around to making Lestadt. Which should have been made (as a movie)

I watched the first episode and it seems like its well made. Its interesting.
But I have no background knowledge. Didnt read the books, nothing, just along for the ride.
Its very artistic, which can be good at times but can also go off the rails fairly quickly.
