Milos wins in straight sets in just a little over 2 hours - Very professional performance today and will indeed face Wawrinka in round 3.

Really convincing win against a solid returner for Milos. Great to get it done fast and stay out of the heat compared to Stan having to slug it out for quite a while.

Did anyone else catch the snub by Venus at the end of the match? Giorgi went to shake hands and Venus simply went to her chair and didn't even look over. Pretty classless move unless there's something going I have missed?

Thiem in trouble as Steve Johnson is leading two sets to one.
Edit: Thiem did indeed prevail in five sets.

Nice break by Denis to get back on serve in this opening set.

This match is just humming right along, very few points where the rallies exceed 5 shots.

Stan crushed #8 Dimitrov in straight sets in Rd 1. Tough match for Milos.

Seppi's stat line is shocking, 1 winner and 15 unforced errors.

Well, that's a little disappointing, Shapo looked poised to break Seppi and instead Seppi ends up breaking Shapo.

Looks like Shapo and Seppi will be sharing a naked ice bath after the 3rd set as Seppi takes set 2 6-4.

In the Sin Bin
Shapo is basically playing himself out of this tournament right now.
Edit: soon as I say that, he pulls out an utterly dominant service game.
