This is what happened with Chaffee on Oct 10

Chaffee was previously signed by the Flyers, waived and cleared, then accidentally released by the league. He was then signed by the Canes, and waived again before we noticed.

So he's back with the Flyers AHL team where he should have been.

Quite the ride for the young man.

The last claim I see with Columbus in this thread is Taylor Raddysh on September 2.

It's weird because I have a waiver claim in the emails from CBJ for him but goodness it's confusing what happened to that player. Bago do you remember trying to claim him?

If you didn't claim him then you would get Rasmussen

Ah I think I see.
When he was accidently released, the Canes signed him and waived him. That's when we noticed the error, and corrected it. in the meantime, CBJ filed a claim for him, that never went through because he never should have been with Carolina and therefore on waivers.

Gah.

OK so that means CBJs get Rasmussen.

Goodness. The ongoing saga of Mitchell Chaffee. What will happen next?

well k that was surprising.. yeah we never got chaffee. Now chaffee needs to get released accidently and then we need to do this again..
