If you write a letter supporting trash, then you’re trash. What’s the story on Wilmer Valderama? I’ve liked him in NCIS.

Wilmer has some problematic past issues with wanting to date really young women. Met Demi Lovato when she was 17 and he was 29 though he claims they didn’t start dating until she was 18.
Met Mandy Moore when she was 15. He was 4 years older and says he didn’t date her until she was 16 or 17. Stated publicly that he “took her virginity”. Mandy says this is untrue. Certainly disgusting of him to say, true or not.

Well, looks like Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are going down with Masterson, at least within the court of public opinion. That apology video was rehearsed and insincere as hell. No matter what you believe that was terrible optics.
I wonder if Family Guy re-casts Meg in the wake of Justin Roiland's controversy. Lacey Chabert may be due...

Okay, I'm clearly missing something, what relation exactly does the Roiland controversy have with Mila Kunis and Family Guy recasting Meg? I read this and my brain immediately flashed up that meme of the car swerving onto the exit ramp.

Nothing, obviously.

Laura Prepon also escaped Scientology fairly recently, so she probably has less sympathy for members who use it as a way to control people.

Both voiceover talents of a major animated program that have been convicted of nothing but are associated with abuse. Roiland is, allegedly, a perpetrator while Kunis is, allegedly, an enabler. Both under the scope of 20th Television Animation, which may choose to wash their hands of Kunis as they did with Roiland. The circumstances are the same, but different.
I was mostly musing over whether this will cost Kunis her job as Seth MacFarlane is notoriously progressive, and Kunis' role was originally voiced by Chabert. The precedent of re-casting voice roles under a variety of circumstances have been set in the last few years: Missy on Big Mouth, Cleveland on Family Guy, Apu absent on The Simpsons, Roiland in his roles in Rick and Morty and Solar Opposites. Kunis relates more to Roiland's example, so I wondered out loud accordingly. The horror.
Any other dots I need to connect?

That's one hell of a stretch. I have some liniment in my bathroom medicine cabinet if you need.

I'm not the one making the accusations. Take it up with Chrissie Bixler.

Let’s:
Sounds less like she was an enabler and more like she was a victim in some way. Not exactly a good look to cancel a potential victim.

Question, if that’s what you view as a normal relationship with a ‘big brother figure’ I feel very sad for you, and I hope you consider getting into therapy. You almost forget I was there The whole time those first five years of That ’70s Show. I remember everything.

There's no doubt that from her parents to the producers she was put in a tough situation as a 14 year old in a teen comedy where her role is as the girlfriend of a 19 year old actor. There are some old interviews making the rounds where it sounds like some immature and shady moments behind the scenes occurred. However, here Bixler insinuates much more than being victimized (which you're right, she does imply, but that's Kunis' story to tell), and it's on the heels of openly defending a convicted rapist.
I don't believe she will be 'cancelled', but when it's becoming increasingly easier to wash your hands of the headache of any controversy is this one where she doesn't return as Meg on Family Guy?

Up until now I thought Kutchers plea letter was simply what he said on the surface - to not negatively affect Masterson’s little daughter. I personally didn’t have a problem with that as it seemed to come from a fair place.
Now the plot thickens and it seems Masterson has something over Kutcher. Yikes, it’ll probably surface in the next few years.

That apology video was some of the least inspiring acting I've seen from two allegedly 'Professional Actors.'

Maybe because it's not acting, Masterson was a friend and mentor for many years, it's possible they don't believe he could have done those things, after all the first jury was deadlocked and it's possible he gets acquitted upon appeal.

I didn't know that, good for her.
The more I read up on the Church, the more horrifying it is.
Its literally a monster factory of abuse and exploitation for people like Tom Cruise and his Scientology buddies.
I refuse to watch movies or support someone who uses slave labor and had Scientology assign him what amounts to a phony wife and sex slave.
The man's a pig.

Captain, I've always been enthralled with your sentence breaks/spaces. Do you have a reason for double and triple breaks between sentences? Regular paragraphs are generally one line space. Like is there a reason for a double space between a sentence and a triple space? It looks so bizarre when scrolling, and requires extra clicks to implement. I've been meaning to ask.
