Damn, I've been trying to stay on top of this but got confused today.
I thought that Canada pulled back the 25% retaliatory tariffs after reading the following story a couple weeks ago, guess it only applies to material from the US used to manufacture products in Canada.

a federal court on wednesday ruled that president donald trump overstepped his authority to impose sweeping tariffs that have raised the cost of imports for everyone from giant businesses to everyday americans.
A three-judge panel at the us court of international trade, a relatively low-profile court in manhattan, stopped trump’s global tariffs that he imposed citing emergency economic powers, including the “liberation day” tariffs he announced on april 2. It also prevents trump from enforcing his tariffs placed earlier this year against china, mexico and canada, designed to combat fentanyl coming into the united states.

It’s so hilarious that a reporter asked Trump about the TACO trade (Trump Always Chickens Out) yesterday. He probably was just itching to show that he’s super tough and slap some tariffs on someone. Then, hours later the court says he’s not allowed!
Meanwhile, he’s poisoned the US relationship with all these countries, effectively ended 75 years of US rules primacy and all for absolutely nothing. Of course he’ll be appealing this, but I’m enjoying it for the time being anyway.

They'll definitely appeal it, but also they'll likely just ignore the ruling and keep all the tariffs in place.

Why would companies agree to pay the tariffs then? If the courts are saying they're invalid, who's going to enforce collection for Trump?

Thats why the gop passed their big beautiful bill last week, it has provisions in it to limit court injunctions and to ignore rulings...like theyve been doing.

Yeah I know. But if there's no rule of law then it's the rule of the jungle. And having guns pointed at your face or having your assets taken away is worse.

Best part about this is that other countries now have no reason to negotiate with these clowns until they get some clarification on what will ultimately happen regarding the tariffs. All of these so-called “great deals” that the administration was supposedly working on are now officially dead in the water, probably until the Supreme Court makes a ruling on it. And who knows how long that will take, since it’ll have to go through the appeals process first.

Not all of them. The Fentanyl and "Liberation Day" tariffs are dead (for now anyways) but the Auto and Steel Tariffs remain (they had a different legal justification that this court wasn't being asked to weigh in on).
