Couldn’t find it with a search but “The old man” with Jeff Bridges on Disney is fantastic.

One episode in and its pretty good overall, lots of potential.
I will say this however: If you, at some point in your life suffered the misfortune of working as a line cook or almost any restaurant position this show will give you PTSD flashbacks.

It's been twenty years since I worked in a kitchen and I still dream about it regularly. I don't think I'll be watching this show.

I dunno.
I like it. I find it holds my interest. I don’t quite get the love fest, though.

I could just be a personal taste issue.
If you didn't enjoy Atlanta, you won't enjoy this (I think it's a slight step down from Atlanta).
Personally, I'm a foodie and really into chef/restaurant culture. I find it fascinating and insane, and this show just highlights the worst of it.

I am replying to a months old question, but wanted to throw a recommendation our for this. Really enjoying it so far, but I'm a sucker for this genre (1920/30's gang era).

Sex & violence? Warrior is a must-watch in that sense

That was a great show too, made by the same people as Banshee.

If you are looking for sex and violence the obvious is Game of Thrones, along the same lines but in a pirate theme is Black Sails.
Lots of action and violence there is The Punisher, Sons of Anarchy or That Dirty Black Bag.
Cartoonish violence there is Preacher or Squid Game.

Ooh, I'd second that, Black Sails was awesome. That one might be up for a re-watch soon here.

I looked into Warrior yesterday. Think that's up next for me on my binge list! Action, violence, T&A, Bruce Lee and the same showrunner from Banshee. Talk about hitting all the right spots lol.

Ted Lasso S2 was pretty meh. I loved S1 so much but 2 just didn’t come close. Story was so much weaker in every way imaginable.
For All Mankind is great. I’d seen bits and pieces before but from the beginning watching it all the way thru and I really like it. About half done S2 so far and it is excellent.

Welcome to Wrexham is a pretty big meh. Watch Sunderland til I die for some actual good documentary on a down on their luck football club.
It’s basically a publicity vehicle for the two Rs. No depth to the actual decision making around rebuilding the team.

We’ve started to watch. It’s not bad to start, but the jury is still out after two episodes.

The Old Man is different. I'm enjoying it, but it's starting to feel a bit contrived at about episode 4. Hope it doesn't go too far off the rails, it was working so well as a cat and mouse game.
Never realize how much Jeff Bridges looks like Kris Kristofferson.

It didn’t live up to its potential IMO. Might have been better as a miniseries vs. continuing series.
