I wish I had the courage to do what the old chap did. It was hilarious to hear the F bombs and see the arms flailing as he ranted away. I sat there like you just fuming about what was happening. When you have lineups of 3 cars per bay you'd think people would notice.

If you're in there for longer than 10 minutes, you're a dink. 20 minutes and you're a complete a-hole.

They are a cash cow and I agree there isn't enough of them in the city. The SW probably needs the touch less ones though because god knows we North Easters aren't paying $12 for "the works".

So I pull out and they are both literally parked perfect. Both in the yellow lines and nothing is wrong with how he parked but the man still flipped out on him. Some people just have nothing better to do.
If more people did that you wouldn't have idiots taking 20 mintes to wash thier vehicles during a busy period.

Can anyone give me an idea where I can get a small white money bag? Like what you used to see in cartoons when someone robbed a bank? Since you're dying to know why, it's for a wedding gift. I want to give cash, in loonies, in a little white bag that I'll draw a big $ on. Like from a cartoon... Y'know?

My sis is scouring dollar stores right now, but no luck. Basically looking for a Crown Royal bag, but white.

No, if more people did that the only thing you'd have more of is assault charges and a few broken noses/bones when the guy getting out of his truck messes with the wrong guy cleaning his truck.

Only thing I can think of would be somewhere that sells Halloween costumes

Hahaha good idea. That reminded me of the time my buddy got married and his friend is a hard-core Pens fan and put 87 cents in the card.

He gave him his actual present later but it was funny and expected from him.

I just thought of Michaels. Isn't that like a craft store? Never been inside, but there's one near me.

I've witnessed incidents where it gets heated but no fist fights or broken bones.

What about the car washed where they are two inline bays? You are waiting with 5 others in line and you notice the first guy is done and leaves but the 2nd guy won't move his car up even after his cycle has ended.

I had a mishap one time with this sort of thing. I was first in line waiting. There were 3 or 4 cars deep behind me. The first guy is done but the second guy wouldn't move forward. In the meantime a guy that just pulled up to the car wash pulled around back and the backed into the open stall effectively giving all of us who were waiting a big F you. I'm not sure why I lost it but I did. I went inside to confront him. He looks at me like "piss off bud". I get more agitated. The guy then has the balls to spray me! At this point to make my point I smack his car with my hand. Well.......I did such a good job of that, I broke his side window.

I didn't even realize I did it at the time until I got back in my car and noticed my hand bleeding. Later at home I got the inevitable visit for CPS. He said I could pay for the window or be charged. I chose to pay for it.

But this ###### wasn't done. He submitted a quote for double what the window was worth and tried to get me to pay for the tint too. Luckily the CPS officer also thought he was a ###### and didn't have patience for that. I got my own quote for the glass and we went off of that quote.

I never thought I would be capable of busting out a car window. I guess I was really pissed.

TD gave me a shopping bag. Way too big. $200 in loonies is a ptahetically small amount of coins when in a bag that big.

I should just cut off a piece of my curtains.

Wedding is tomorrow, so I want to find one right now. I wonder if a seamstress would just do that on the spot for me.

Or go to a bank with a bag that has a money symbol on it. Hand it to the teller. Don't say anything, she'll know what to do.

That's always been my policy. Unless I'm in the NE late at night where they have a bunch of 24/hr car washes and nobody else is around. THEN I take the time to clean the crap out of the thing.
Ya but then you get the a-hole neighbour who calls the bylaw officer because you're washing your car at home, and suds are getting in the storm drain. Suddenly that nice detail you wanted to do on your car costs $3000 because you didn't want to take up a car wash bay. It's a no win situation with car washing in Calgary.

Yeah I keep hearing that but I've never had it happen or even heard of it happening.

As long as the redneck around the corner can continue to get away with leaving his trailer unattached, on the road, in front of a fire hydrant, I'm not worried about washing my car

This is quite funny. I was thinking about what it would cost to open a coin-op car wash last night, that also had an attached touchless automatic wash for those who simply want a splash and dash.

I even dreamt about it last night, The the coins were going into the slot but were being eaten by geese hiding in the walls, and the banker that financed it was there (he had a regular human body, but a white Canon zoom lens for a face) was trying to foreclose it because I couldn't stop the geese from eating my coins, and I couldn't pay then loan.

Then I saw this thread.

When I go to those wash bays attached to gas stations, I always like to leave my vehicle there when I'm done and go inside and check all of my lottery tickets, twice.
