Oh, I was certain they'd traded the 27 1st. With the writing on the wall with Connor, maybe they go all in for a couple more runs.

For what it is worth Mike Johnson brought up Weegar for the Sens in their second period intermission. There is a lot of noise in the city of Ottawa about the Sens being interested in Weegar.

I’m not sure how much truth there is to this, especially judging by the picks involved in the two trades today. It seems like a lot of teams are saying that if someone is willing to pay the price, they would move the player. I’m not convinced that prices are necessarily low just because a lot of players are being advertised as available

I suspect that the offers for Kadri and the offers for Coleman all require retention, because neither is a pending UFA, so we can’t just take back a pending UFA cap dump. One of them might need to be moved in the offseason. So likely one veteran forward and a depth RD will be moved. Any more than that will be a bonus.

Serevalli spoke about this on 960 this afternoon too. Didn’t think Kadri would be likely to move this deadline. Time to maybe temper expectations for an exciting trade deadline for us but that usually is the case
