Might be too obvious, but here's how I see next season starting out:

Pretty powerful. This show never disappoints, and is never what I expect.

some pretty big flaws in that finale, but fantastic nevertheless. The second major death in that episode somehow shook me more than the first one, I really liked that character.
Kurt Sutter is a crazy SOB, but in a good way. And now I am supposed to wait 9 months, or what? Damn you, Sutter!

TBQH, right after it was revealed that Jax was going to "turn himself in" I figured Tara had to die somehow, because the star of the show isn't going to be in prison for the final season and after he made that decision, the only plausible way to avoid that fate was for Tara to die. With that said, didn't ever see it going down as it did and Juice coming in for the 2nd kill was completely out of left field.
I would probably say this was the best season of Son's yet, which is shocking to me because the best actor on the show (imo), Ron Perlman, wasn't featured nearly as much as in previous seasons.
Edit: Although I said Perlman is the best actor on the show, the guy that plays Tig gives him a run for his money.

Also, I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Sutter (or whoever did the casting) would have found more suitable (and skilled) actors to play Jax and Juice this show could possibly have been one of the best shows of the last decade. Oh well, still a dam good show and much better then anything network TV has to offer.

^agree 100% about the actor who plays juice, he's terrible, Charlie hunnman on the other hand I think has been great, I find it's more the occasinal poor dialogue in the show that makes some of the actors come off as robotic (star wars ep 1-3 syndrome)

We'll have to agree to disagree about Hunnam, I think the guy is pretty bad. In fact just tonight (I watched the finale tonight) I was thinking about how the writing is actually really quite good overall. I never find anything that Gemma, Bobby, Tig, Tara, Chips, Nero, Wayne, etc. say to be off the mark or robotic in any way. But Jax and Juice? Yikes.
I will say that Hunnam is a lot better then the guy that plays Juice (he is literally a train wreck, and to make things worse, looks/acts nothing like anyone I can imagine being in a outlaw bike gang), but I still think an actor that could better convey the depth of emotion that the Jax character has gone through over the years would have made the show a lot better.

Entertaining for sure, but the logic leaps of the DA's office leaving a star witness alone in a park with no supervision is ridiculous. Also, the Sheriff not looking around the house after seeing Unser's car in the driveway was pretty poor police work as well.
Oh well, I got past it, but I couldn't help but laugh when those things happened.

Finally watched the finale last night! WOW. I was stunned at how that played out, one of the best season ending shows I've seen in a long time. So brutal though, I could barely watch that ending scene.

Tara was still hiding from both the DA and the club when she went to that park so she wouldn't have any supervision. I thought the same thing about the sheriff not looking around after seeing unser's truck, but when you think about it he had no reason to be suspicious since jax had made the deal to protect Tara so she shouldn't have been in any danger from the club.

Gemma also wasn't in the house, she came in through the back door after Tara went in the kitchen.
Eli could have looked around, but would have found it empty, went out the door and it still would have went down.

Interesting. Saw Tara's death from a mile though so not surprised.
Jax is getting the blame for this, both Tara and Eli. The look on DA's face said it plus Jax's gun is by Eli's feet (although it hasn't been fired).
Browns and Yellow vs Whites and Black next season. Plus the demise of one Gemma (God, I hate her character).

I think it's a good show but there's WAY too much murder / death with not enough repercussions law-wise for me. People just off each other and it's all good it seems.
It's also a little too violent / disgusting for my tastes. Otherwise it's a good show.

Jesus, the last couple of seasons has reached Game of Thrones level for the body count. Gonna be interesting to see how they wrap the series up next year, I can't imagine anyone is going to walk away with a happy ending

Holy #####.... I had an exam and staved off watching until last night. That was one insane ending. I had a feeling something would happen, but that was insane how it all unfolded. Although expected, I really had this back and forth with Tara, and really liked her the last episode. Really took a lot to see that in the end. Juice is pissing me off though. I used to like him, but he killed the ending for me. I hope Gemma gets hers next season. Can't wait for 9 months though... lol

I just watched the last two episodes. The climax still has me shaken up, much more so than any television show I can remember.

Just having her die was shocking enough for me, but the added shock given the brutal way in which she died.........ugh. Just a TV show, but holy that was hard to watch.
