Reminds me a lot of Flames/Canucks Game 7 in 2004. Very sloppy and tough but will have an amazing finish.
This is the perfect style for the Celtics though. God it be sweet if they can hold on.

It's surprising how badly the Celtics are missing Perkins, his presence in the key was huge for boxing out/rebounding.

Man I can't stand American sports and how the media and fans make everything bigger then life. It's all about Kobe...Kobe's legacy, just like in the NFL it's Mannings. It takes away from the game and becomes way to of an individual battle. Just play the game and talk about the teams playing it.

Someone tell Lakers fans that they can cheer when their team is down. Way too quiet.
Celtics got this.

That's just the way the NBA has built their league, individuals first, teams second. Not a huge fan of the philosophy.
You can tell the NHL are trying to follow in their footsteps, but when you look at the ratings over the last 3 years in the finals it would suggest that it isn't working.

This IS a really odd game. So low scoring it's ridiculous. I'm guessing the 4th quarter is going to be a free-for-all. Lakers are making a comeback! Bryant's gotta step it up.

Definitely one of the weirdest game 7s I've ever seen. Feels to me like LA is going to come back and take it, but the momentum is so hard to judge. Here's hoping Boston can dig deep.

Huge 3 by Fisher. Sheeds 5 fouls really hurt. He's been playing great tonight. Celtics offence looks stagnant at times, not knowing what to do. Someone has got to step up. I love seeing Gasol and Kobe playing like this, it would be such a sweet victory for the Celtics but it keeps looking like the Lakers are going to pull this out.
With this missed free throws, turnovers and bricked shots, this has been one hell of an ugly game. I love defensive basketball, but a lot of these mistakes are self inflicted.
Reffing has been awesome tonight though

29 FT's for the Lakers, 15 for the Celtics. That's tough.

@ DownGoesBrown: Celtics: In hindsight, halftime "How to finish when you have the lead" guest lecture by the Bruins may have been mistake.

Basketball is such a joke. The refs make sure the home team, especially when its the Lakers, win.
So predictable.

Gasol deserves MVP, doubt he gets it - but they don't win game 7 without him
