If I'm playing rush and a bunch of the opponents' squads keep respawning right on a M-Com, I'll swap over to a 40mm and take the free kills. I have no qualms with using 2 40mm and my 1 grenade to get a bunch of kills.
Targeting one player with the 40mm is silly, clearing out 4 at once with one is awesome!
No way, killing one player from 50 yards with a 40mm headshot is awesome. Overkill is hilarious.
I want to trade in MW2 for this game, can anyone recommend a store?
EB games? Best buy? Future shop? They all do trade-ins. I think it should still be around the $30-40 value. So you'll only have to put in $20 dollars in.
There was a deal earlier where you could get BF2 for $20 as DLC I believe.

Just picked it up at futureshop today, got $40 for MW2.
This game kicks MW2's ass up and down the street. It's pretty rough looking in direct comparison, but the multi-player is worlds better and I prefer the controls. It's shamelessly stealing from WoW's battlegrounds and Left 4 dead in multiplayer, but if you're going to steal, steal from the best.
I'm a huge fan of Battlefield 1943 (5 star general), and I loved seeing them use all the 1943 sprites at the start of the campaign. I found my loyal assault rifle and just evaporated the Japanese forces.

It can't be hands down better than MW2, because apparently MW2 is the greatest FPS EVAR!!
Battlefield BC2 is amazing compared to MW2, different kinds of games as BC2 actually takes skill and team-work.
So I keep drilling guys but I never manage to get them in the head, it's quite frustrating. Maybe it's because I only play hardcore so I'm always guessing approximately where their heads are when I have no crosshairs.
I'm really sick of this game to be honest. It's getting far too repetitive whereas I never tired of 1942 or BF2 which had more variety. I seriously need some new maps. Maybe it's because the maps are all so restrictive and small and there are so few players for the max limit.
I heard theres another map pack coming. Not sure when it will be released. I'm tired of most of the rush maps, so lately I just play a 24/7 Atacama Desert server.
Also spoilers if you haven't played through the campaign.
On hardcore I always use "Aim down the sights". Although the MG36 for the medic is bugged as the holo-dot for the reticle is absent.
I also almost exclusively play rush for PUG's. Easier to pick off n00b snipers and overconfident nearly there's. Sure the Grenade launcher is annoying especially in the smaller rush maps (nelson bay).
Then it becomes an elaborate hide and go ambush. I fail lots and usually wind up with a team comprised of snipers. That's ok. I accepted that a while ago. It's why I have a "gaudy" k/d of 0.82, and a w/l of the same. It's just about getting the insignias for me right now.
Also the improved vehicle armor perk is great for flying as you can land a little rougher than usual without cratering the helo.
The Hind is pretty fun. I joined Isla Innocentes right as my defending team was getting steamrolled. The other team had pushed us all the way back to the last point and had all their tickets left.
I spawned by the Hind and jumped in as I saw a pilot waiting for a gunner. Damn, that guy was a great pilot. He just slid the thing to the left and to the right everytime a rocket came at him. We were flying that Hind until the end of the round and I had a ridiculous 45/0 kill ratio with it. I wasn't even doing any hard work, just looking for players like ants and firing in the general direction. Every single bullet from the Hind's gun is like a 40mm grenade. The pilot deserved all the kudos for that one.
I suck @ flying, suck huge. I find way less planes in this one then I have when I played BF2 and 2142.
GIVE ME FIGHTER JETS DAMMIT.
Choppers have always been tough in BF, and there's humongous pressure because everybody will hate you if you crash the chopper and get all your passengers killed or for wasting the chopper spawn. If you can't fly, there is huge pressure to never try it, so goto an empty server and practice.
This is the first Battlefield game I have played since BF 1942 (I played the BF 1943 demo too) and I have to say, they have certainly made flying helicopters way easier (they were in BF Vietnam and BF 1942 Desert Combat).
If you think flying is hard in BFBC 2, it was like a million times harder back on BF 1942.
What's up with the Exemplary Combat Service badge? It's bugged or something.
I have all the combat pins like it says but it didn't unlock. I checked out http://bfbc2.statsverse.com and it said I needed 11 combat pins and 8 objective pins. I was missing the squad deathmatch one so I went and won a round to get that. Now I have 11/11 and 8/8 as it says on the site but the insignia is still greyed out.
I remember playing Battlefield Vietnam with a bunch of people on line and we actually managed to find 2 Huey choppers and a gun ship. We managed to get enough people to fill the helicopters including door gunners and a pilot and co-pilot plus a bunch of GI's and we did an air cav assault of an enemy base where the Gunship just pasted it then we landed in their court yard and disembarked infantry.
The idea was to fly back to the base to get more guys to re-enforce, but I got about 50 feet above the ground then was shredded by a anti-aircraft vehicle crashing onto of a platoon storming a building.

picked this up over the weekend on Steam, and i'm quite impressed. i was able to adapt quite quickly compared to my times trying Call of Duty even though it plays a lot differently than other Battlefield games. once i unlocked the auto-shotgun on team deathmatch it was like shooting fish in a barrel in the tight maps with a lot of buildings. managed to rank up 4 times in just a couple of hours doing that. and i absolutely LOVE stabbing people in the face with the knife, it's quite fun to see people panic when you charge at them head on. i also have to say how rewarding it is to be in a tank and have the ability to blow apart whatever building someone is hiding in, no more ducking in your little tower of comfort anymore mr. sniper
