Sorry, I was busy with this whole 'work' thing that I occasionally do. I also got caught streaming the damn thing live in my office.

Boss was not pleased. But I got away with it.

"So this is why I havent been getting those TPS reports on time!!!"

1-0 Bayern at half. WIth the early away goal Lyon will need a deuce in the 2nd half to advance which seems unlikely.

Too bad it isn't on SN. The Inter game with Barcelona is on tomorrow though. Hopefully we'll see an Inter-BM final with Inter taking it.

they need 3

if they get 2 Bayern would advance on away goals

should be a very open 2nd half, Lyon have to press

Disappointing game from Robben, he was a one man diving team today. I like him as a player, but the diving has to stop.

Weak, bad news for Bayern, 3 match ban for Ribery.

That red in the first half was bogus. Awful, awful dive. Good on Inter for getting through in spite of it.

Inter played that game ugly but they got the job done and did what they needed to do.

They gave Barcelona all the possession and dared them to break them down. Barcelonas trickery and pace was useless when Inter had 10 men behind the ball.

Poor sportsmanship from Barcelona by turning on the sprinklers after Inter won, show some class in defeat and let the team celebrate after a big win.

Yeah, what's the deal with the sprinklers? Was it seriously just to piss off Inter?

Seemed like it, I highly doubt that the sprinkers would have come on instantly after the match if Barca had won.

Really just poor class by them, especially Dani Alves who tried to stop The Special One from celebrating.

Awesome avatar by the way, Forza Azzurri.

Awesome win by Inter today. That red card was one of the worst calls I've ever seen! To hold Barca off with only 10 men was awesome. Absolute Justice!

Yeah, they turned the sprinklers on to clear the field. Classless move by Barcelona, but I would expect nothing else from those diving losers! I wish someone would have kicked the head off of the sprinkler...

I would assume Flames Central will show the final on May 22nd? Anyone know of a great place to watch the game (preferably with a pro-Inter crowd)?

There are enough Italian joints in the city you should be able to find some place that will show it and have a pro-Inter crowd. Just find an Italian restaurant that has a lounge. i don't know any Italian specific pubs off the top of my head though...

I'd also suggest Melrose on 17th. It was pretty pro-Azzurri in 06 for the WC. Only thing is that I don't know what kind of coverage they'll have if there is an afternoon NHL playoff game because of NBC.

Nope, just the Special One who, in my mind, deserved it. Don't try to say he was going to the Inter fans because that's bs, it was a cover.

Every time Inter felt a little pressure they fell, Barca just got lucky with the better result from one of their dives. Nonetheless, Barca might have fely a bit cheated. Even the ITV commentators were laying it on both the ref and his assistants. In regards to the latter, I don't think I have ever seen as many missed called corners/goal-kicks in a single match as I did tonight. However, fair play to Inter as they did what they needed not only tonight but over both legs.
