Nah thats BS, again a large segment of the audience is kids. I bet when the polls are done its only with the adults.

When I went to the movie my Kid and his friends loved the movie and they want to go again.......

Transformer 2 was better than Transformer 1 in my opinion....

Sounds more like critics hate it but audiences like it. I for one will probably buy it on blu-ray purely because it was visually fantastic, but it was seriously poorly planned and executed.

I can't wait for Bay and Speilberg to cut the excessive crap in the 3rd and make a good sequel.

Finally saw this piece of garbage last night. How the hell can anyone above the age of 11 defend this movie? The humour was for the most part cringe worthy and actually embarrassing at times (ghetto robots with gold teeth- REALLY?). The majority of the action scenes were mediocre and hard to follow, specifically the climax. On top of all that it was waaaaaay too long for what it offered. The saddest part is how potentially cool this franchise could have been with a good script and a better director.

I thought Michael Bay did a great job with The Rock and had a few decent others. Since Pearl Harbor the guy has hit a new level of suckage.

Some parts were cheesy but the reason why this appeals to so many is the explosions and action. Not many directors would be into this and more into the story line... then we have everyone complaining about the horrible action. Personally, I don't see how this could have been better - with the exception that they should have made Optimus' death more dramatic [spoiler in black]

Megan Fox is hot. That is all.

Oh, and my 4 year old loved it - until he fell asleep. I'll be getting it for him when it comes out on DVD so he can watch it 1,000 times.
