The M1 was pretty much a flop, as far as production cars go. But it gave birth to the M series of vehicles we now have from BMW.
Top Gear on the M1 (Series 3 episode 2). As a side note.. look at the pitiful audience..

With my next pick, Koenigferrarilamboseggviking picks in the Racing category, the car that revolutionized rally sport, and indeed cars all cars, the Audi Quattro.

Audi won nearly every competition for 2 years with these things when they first came out.

for my next selection i will go to the Sedan category and select the Mercedes C63 AMG..

Had a bunch of other thoughts on this one but i have been driving one for the last few days and this car is a beast.. 459HP in a small sedan is good.

Geez Tim if they had a "Cars that you actually drive" category you'd have a pretty big advantage

for sure.. i am very fortunate in my job that i get to drive a ton of nice stuff and have had a lot of cars.. I get to drive nice stuff everyday and the best part is that i don't have to pay for them. I would say i have driven better than 50% of the cars selected in the draft so far.

My wifes current car is an 07 E350 wagon and it is the first car that i have owned that i have had to renew the registration on. Been driving for almost 20 years now and this is the first car i have owned over a year.

I for one am shocked by this pick. Imagine Tim picking a Mercedes.

I guess it's an alright pick if you're into that kind of thing.

Whoops, should have been paying more attention to the draft order. I think I get to pick twice now: my AK'd 10th round pick and my 11th. Yell at me and call me names if I'm taking a car out of order.

In the 10th round, team Custom Carb is proud to select, in the category of convertible

The 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Barritz and you better believe that mother's gonna be pink.

In round 11, team Custom Carb is proud to select, in the category of Race Car

The Jaguar D-Type Built between 1954 and 1957 the D-type was originally intended as a pure race-car, and it did very well, winning Le Mans in 1955, 56 and 57.

A road going version of the D-type was produced, the XKSS, but on February 12, 1957 a fire destroyed the moulds for the car and only 16 XKSS cars were built.

The D-type is today one of the most expensive cars to procure, a 1955 D-type sold at auction for an astonishing 2,201,500 pounds in 2008 - that's 4.04 million in Canadian dollars.

^^^ It took you a while but a couple of nice picks there driveway. Great to see someone with the cojones to pick the Pink Cadillac. I like that little Jaguar as well; I've never heard of it before.

I can't believe there were no picks for over 24 hours and then there are six while I'm catching up on my beauty sleep. Nice work guys!

The other car I was strongly considering for my convertible pick was the no-door jeep, as I figure convertibles are about fun in a way other cars just aren't.

Think how much fun it is to ride around in a no-door jeep in the summertime.

But in the end, I just couldn't NOT have the Eldorado in my garage. Those fins, that grill, the history ... I had to have it.
