In the spirit of full disclosure, last year I had my PS3 have to be sent away to get fixed.

Couple things that bug me from the newer vids
-only the guys who get a point celebrate a goal
-puck gets through too many CPU players too easily
-the goalies let the puck slide around in front of them without picking it up
-the commentary is the same as last year, I hope they add to it, and not just things about "boards" or "toughness".
-when you have the puck your players skate around slowly and don't try to do anything or get open, they just skate to their wing and wait for the puck.

these are really small things and shouldn't be that big of a deal in what looks like an amazing game

plus as someone mentioned they play it on the easy level so that they can show the moves easily...... they aren't going to do a gameplay vid on all-star and get owned in the video's

Same as in '09. It's pretty lame I realize but it's also convenient because it tells you who got assists on the goal.

Best part is when the oppossing goalie accidently kicks it into his own net and then celebrates with your team, that never gets old.

One time (in band camp) some guy got his stick lifted and the puck slid in the net, and he slammed his stick and was celebrating with the other team (might've been 08)

My buddy was in a dynasty and he got all the way to game 7 overtime of the cup finals. After a frantic scramble in front of the net Rhett Warrener accidentally knocked the puck into his own net, costing my buddy the cup. The salt in the wound was then watching Warrener celebrate the cup winning goal with the Bruins. It was like watching a WWE match, I half expected Vince McMahon to come sauntering out onto the ice.

I love the celebration glitches. First one I saw was Lungo coming out to celebrate with Langkow, giving him a hug after knocking the puck into his own net. My friends and I were on the floor laughing for about 1/2 hour.

From what I've seen of the vidoes so far, the game doesn't seem much different from NHL09. Sure there are some tweaks but in general the plays and goals look to happen the same way.

It is sooooo annoying how useless your teammates are. It drives me insane that you pretty much have to do everything yourself to score a goal. No one ever drives to the net, no one ever tries to get open. Also, i hate how the other team can push around your team mates when they dont have the puck, but you try to do the same thing and its instant interference call.

Soooooo annoying.

I know!! I was playing OTP and I was sitting in front of the net, well skating around trying to get open and the CPU defence hit me about 7-8 times knocking me down twice. I hit him back ONCE, and I get an interference call, like what the hell EA? How is that fair in anyway, it just isn't. Considering in the real NHL you can't just keep beating the guy like the CPU does to me, because it would be penalty, yet if I hit him back just once I get a penalty.

I really hope they sort out ALL of the BS penalties, interference, random roughing/charging calls, elbows, holding, stick lifting glitching into a penalty (the guy isn't anywhere near me). And especially the tripping, it should only trip the guy when your stick is near him. I have gotten countless trip calls when I will be bringing my stick back, his skates are about 2 feet from my stick now, and I am finishing the pokecheck animation and he gets tripped and I get a penalty. This happens ALL the time.

I have to point out the awesomeness of this post.

I just woke up half of my office when I started laughing at this.

It's because you can hit attacker's or the other team when they're in front of your net or fairly close to the crease, you can do it as well when you defend but once your team gets the puck, I'm pretty sure you get a penalty.

It's a pretty stupid exploit, and a lazy job on EA's part to make it like that.

http://www.ea.com/music/the-official-nhl-10-soundtrack

The soundtrack has been released. Feature artists such as DragonForce, Nickelback, Megadeth, Scorpions, Green Day, Rancid, Alexisonfire and more.

The one thing that remains constant year after year...a horrible soundtrack. I guess EA thinks hockey fans all have pretty one dimensional musical tastes.

I have to disagree with ya there. I think this is by far the best soundtrack NHL has pulled off. DragonForce, Alexisonfire, Nickleback, Green Day. More hard rock and less of the soft junk we had on the soundtrack in the past. Past years have sucked since NHL 2004, but this one will by far be suitable and won't bleed my ears out with songs that don't even get you pumped for or even fit hockey at all.

I disagree. As you indicated, it's hard to please everyone, but I usually enjoy the soundtrack.

The problem is, I don't enjoy hearing the same ten songs for the 500th time. So I am so glad us PS3 users will have custom soundtracks next year!

Oh woo wee oh WE ARE THE WARRIORS OF TIME!
